I'm so glad you spoke on this subject. I've experienced this very thing. I met a catalyst in the beginning about five years ago. After experiencing tremendous pain for a lengthy period of time, I eventually decided to let him go and work diligently on healing my soul. I then met my true twin two or maybe three years later at the age of 61! turns out hes 27 years younger WOW!! However; there was still work to do but the pain I'd felt before was no longer present. I knew he was my person because his voice activated me big time. It was different this time. With the catalyst it was the eyes. I haven't seen nor heard from the catalyst since very early 2019. The dreams stop the thoughts of him subsided, etc. I actually begin loving myself again and then BOOM my person contacted me. I just thought I'd share that bit of my journey. I just met a Catalyst Twin Flame 2 weeks ago during my actual Twin Flame separation and I am so shook! My first Catalyst Twin Flame, I had met years ago, in 2015. We stayed together for almost 2 years. Almost 7 years after, in November 2022, I met my actual Twin Flame, after 4 months of a romantic relationship, he pulled away from the physical 3D connection and we went into separation. I. experienced a deep DNOTS and a rebirth process on a psychological and soul level and an ajdjustment to 5D energies. And 2 weeks ago, I met a Catalyst Twin Flame. One of the things that had me shocked was how many similarities between him and my Twin Flame are present. My other catalyst that I met prior meeting my Twin Flame, had also so many similar characteristics with my actual Twin Flame. My new catalyst that I just met and my Twin Flame have both have similar face features, they are both African, around the same age, they have the same zodiac sign, same ascendent, they both have the same neurodivergence, they are both good at the same particular sports and many more weirdly synchronistic details like that! And the way my soul recognized his soul was that he felt different from soulmates and he felt as if a part of my Twin Flame's soul is in him. Things got weirder and weirder! Before I met my Catalyst, I was thinking and feeling that I can never feel comfortable enough to come physically close to another human being after having been with my Twin Flame. That it just won't resonate with anyone… I felt how the Universe/My higher Self put hindrances in my way, when I tried to get close to anyone physically. Then, after having been alone for a while, I met my Catalyst. We exchanged our Instagrams. After that we went out together, we danced and we kissed and the kiss felt exactly the same way it did with my Twin Flame: effortless and as if it was just a magnetic and rhytmic match, something that is beyond physical. And then, we got closer and we were about to have sex. Before meeting him, I constantly had the feeling that it just felt wrong on an energetic level to be with anyone else other than my twin flame. I was wondering for how long I was going to stay celibate. Before we were having sex, he told me how comfortable he feels with me and that he is normally not like this. And I said to him: "right? it feels as if we know each other already!" and he was like "Yes!" So we had a magical, deeply emotional and spiritual sexual experience. It constantly felt as if my twin flame was making love to me because it was the same energy emitting from my catalyst, energetically speaking there was literally no difference at all. Maybe, the catalyst's role is to prepare us for the twin flame connection or for a possible reunion later on; it can give us room for growth and transformation, because it is less triggering. My twin left a year ago…But what then happened- I met someone else. I had a catalyst. It was after my twin and I confessed truly loving each other. Lots of confessions. Within a week it was as if the light switched and suddenly this other person was in my consciousness and telepathic connection. And I couldn’t feel or sense my twin. I was so confused. But prior to this it was so painful to realize we loved each other but couldn’t be together…and bam, a different person was there. What was interesting was this new person was a spiritual friend, so we would share what we were experiencing and it grew both of us tremendously. It all started in 2019..and I am sure that person was a catalyst..It was very short lived and I was not his type physically and he was very nasty...and a bum as well...I kept sneaking and looking at his profile for about two years...then he reached out to me saying that I had called him but I noticed that I was not attracted to him anymore..but I looked at his profile yet again..after that and he said something very disrespectful and I knew then it is no way in the world this guy every liked me...and I have not looked back to that time...however, it made me become obssessed with finding the one...and it has not been fun at all...I will do good for awhile and then someone new pops up and I will start moving like this person chould be the one...but they all have ended up not being anyone special at all...I would feel better if I knew who the real person was so that I chould let him go.. but I dont...the last guy who ended up being a narristist who just happened to know about twinflames on the surface level but for some reason I knew something was not right about this guy but chould not put my finger on it for the first 2 months of us talking on the phone...but when I finally met him in person I knew he was low vibrational and nothing about him was attractive to me at all not his voice...looks...energy nothing...I did not even like him as a person...I had got caught up with the extreme amounts of love bombing this guy was doing and it all made sense to me..I ended it with him..blocked him.. and moved on and when I do have past thoughts of him they are always bad...

I've done that much work on myself, had to deal with leaving the toxic energy in the family, even my body is now effected with damaged nerves, burning feet. I'm doing my best to eat right, still exercise and I wake up everyday hoping something wonderful will come out of all this pain, but I've lost hope now. I don't even care about my Twin Flame or even if he was just a catylist, all I want now is to heal my body as much as I can. I'm 55 and feel that I'll be alone the rest if my life. I know I didn't have a choice, I don't know of I was guided by the dark side to meet my Twin, but it sure feels like it now.
