Nice ! I just bought a 2009 Candy Apple Red XVS1100A with Vance Hines pipes and I put heated handlebar grips and quadlock. Loving the long trips. I used to enjoy my XVS650 for the Sydney commute but the 1100 is definitely more fun on the open road now.

They have conciderable more punch than the 650 but i still like my 650 too, its lighter and more nimble but as you said not as good as the 1100 on the highway. Enjoy mate!

Good on ya, mate. I ride a 650 XVSA Classic Silverado edition. It's a 2008, with only 20k mileage and looks/ rides like a showroom bike. I love Yamahas. Thanx 4 sharing , my friend . Ride safe, ride often,... just ride. Peace, from Canada.

+Phd Credible thanks bro. Vstar 650 are an awesome bike ridden one many times. Beatuiful and very popular bike in australia. Enjoy!

I love these bikes. I started riding 6 months ago on a 91 Virago 250 and 2 months ago I moved onto a 99 V Star 650 Classic. Once I'm fully licensed I'll move onto a 1100 or 1300 V Star Classic but I plan on putting on a sidecar so I can take my daughters out with me and take them to school.

Lol that was my progression too basically, then my wife learnt on the 250cc. Vstars are great bikes! 😀

I've never ridden a cruiser, but I keep promising myself a test ride to see what I might just be missing!
@iRidetas7 жыл бұрын
+OldManTony lol its the sound and the torque Tony thats the selling point imo. Its always worth a test ride for the fun of riding a new bike!!

OldManTony. For your own benefit, do it, Sir. You shan't regret it. I haven't. Peace and ride safe, from Canada.

Got my cruiser today, just a China made Superlight 200. But damn, this thing is so comfortable to ride. The leg position, your back, it's like sitting on a lounge chair. Then it gives you this sweet roar, which I imagine is so much more powerful on a real cruiser beast. I love my sportsbike, but this cruiser is what I will be riding everyday for my commute to work. Cruisers seem to be made for long rides and you aren't in a hurry.

Loved the twin sound, even though mine was only the 125, she still had a nice purr. Yeh man can't beetm for reliability. Tcrs fella ✊
@iRidetas7 жыл бұрын
+Doticaster I agree doti! I had an bullet proof vstar 250 which was very similar to your 125 twin as my first bike and it sounded amazing and with a few well placed drill holes into the muffler even better!!!! It fueled my love of bikes and riding and now i feel ive come full circle home onto its big brother. I love this bike (still love the others) but i love the v twin! 😆

Dude I’ve got £4K for my project, little bobbed cruiser. Had 2 Sportsters before and never again, both were money pits. Looking at a 535 Virago, will give me plenty of funds for the build and at the end I’ll have a cracking little bike for some summer fun.
@iRidetas6 жыл бұрын
That mate will be a sweet little cruiser. Just sold a sportster recently as it was turning into a money pit. So i hear you. 535 are not real common here i would like to at least ride one to see what they are like! Enjoy that project! 🙂
@gasolinescream35886 жыл бұрын
Yea the 535 is a cracking bike and ideal for how and where I ride. Prices and parts aren’t an issue and like Gilby they are a great base and easy to work on. Take care fella👍

The metrics can have all the handling they want cause they're still not a cruiser! 😉 I really love that bike, such a classic look from the angle you have camera.... and that's the reason why I will always own a Harley, it allows me to own a bike cause the value it holds. It's incredible. Nice ride mate! Good to see you actually have roads there! Lol!! ✌️😉
@iRidetas7 жыл бұрын
+Ridin' Country oh its the cruiser wars starting already 😂 lol thats the only road in Tasmania and ill ride it in every video just to piss everyone off!!! Yup you said it. I pretty glad i didnt buy the xvs1100 new and then sell it for what i paid for it thats for sure but it is a really cool looking and classic looking ride!

Harley's are a great bike just over rated and over priced. great vid mate. RSM8
@iRidetas7 жыл бұрын
+02bigkev i agree for sure! Nothing beats the sound of the harley but im not going to pay 3 times as much for one when i got the stsr for a steal! Thanks mate! 😆
@joracer15 жыл бұрын
Why? Because you are smart.... for the money one can't buy a better bike..... the only problem, is you take off pipe for oil change, but that a great time to clean you pipes... a sportster are you crazy, I've owned 1, ridden several, a sportster is a huge down grade from a v star, you must have never ridden one, the v star is more inline with the fat bob...
@iRidetas5 жыл бұрын
Mate I agree with you, but don't tell me I've never ridden sportster, I've owned a couple and ridden many more! My channel my opinion! And yes the Vstar is a better bike absolutely! Thanks for the comment! 👍Cheers!
