People will cry on each episode and this one is no different. We love all of Africa. There are episodes where Uganda is criticized or Nigeria or Black America. We give our honest outlooks. If you don't like it, ask White Jesus to change it for you. PEACE!

I sucked at making friends in America it wasn't because of pride or anything superficial just that mainly the friendships were monotonous. Been in Ghana now 9 years still don't have many friends but the friendships I do have now are a lot more purposeful and reciprocal than the ones I had back in America. Telling someone that if they sucked at making friends in one place that they will suck at making them in another is horrible advice.

On the Ghana accommodation point, exactly they do it to the locals too. Also the processes you described are in Accra and not the whole country, it’s just that people only consider Accra. This also links to opportunities - in your discussion, you are comparing Accra (a city) with Uganda (a country). There are lots of new/fresh opportunities outside of Accra also. Lastly, it’s actually against the law for landlords to request more than 6 months rent payment.

I happen to work with my black American brothers, truth is they think coming to Africa would be food to a silver plate, And I always tell them never to make decisions to come to Africa unprepared. It looks easy, but in reality it’s a marathon and you can never depend only on savings, by all means you have to enter into an investment game to sustain the savings you’ve got on the accounts 😂. Respecting the community and cultures here is key, if you are welcomed and embraced in the community u are staying in then that’s the genesis

As an outside observer am inclined to believe that thotful and aware would prefer Uganda and East Africa because of Political leadership. Ugandan leadership from personal observation and analysis seems more sober, pro-African, not so elitist and seems poised for regional cooperation than competition. Ghana appears to be self positioned in some imaginary completion with neighbors etc. Uganda President holds us spell bound with history of African political struggles and driven some intellectual ideologies. Uganda is a rising star under the leadership of a very aware president and a educated leader - Museveni. He is a giant and and trusted in Africa and Diaspora. Just observation not on proven facts. Never been to Uganda. Cheers. But I love everything Uganda especially the thriving Christian revival.

Y’all… I’ve visited a couple of African countries including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Africa and Zambia. All these countries are beautiful in their own nature. But I love Uganda for its hospitality so is Tanzania, Kenya for its economic boost but I detest the fact that they tend to act as if they’re westerners. Some weird shit goes on over there. Rwanda is just lowkey composed but I found it had for me to spread my wings freely. Ethiopia has more beautiful hungry people out there with potential to do much nonetheless, language is a strong barrier. South Africa looked more to me like Atlanta and that’s not what I would want to keep my life into and for Zambia, uhmm, still got some more to do. So basically I would look into Tanzania and Uganda if I ever get tired of taking care of them monthly crazy bills!

Lets look at the African in his village who owns his own home 100%. He built it from scratch. He owns a farm yard beside or behind the house where he cultivates his crops, possibly owns some poultry and livestock. He has electricity albeit could be limited but still is very much in touch with the world. Earns a decent income from his investments. An American or European who works till 60 to finish paying up a mortgage or who couldn't even afford to if he ever gets the slightest crime record, works his whole life to service credit cards and debts. But the whole world paints the African in his village as poor and living in poverty. What an irony 😅

@@edith1705 Look, I don't have any issues with my Uganda brothers and sisters. One of my greatest Africans is John Akibua. My issue is Kenganda and his guests attempting to elevate Uganda by denigrating Ghana. Uganda has a lot of unique things that one can sell to the world. If you are going to stick to development indices, you definitely are not help Uganda because Ghana is more developed. Ghana cannot compare to Uganda on beauty of Uganda's natural habitat. These lazy talking heads don't even know how to sell Uganda. I would die to see the source of the Nile.

Look y'all, lets be real, Oshay Duke Jackson has already made his stance and his hatred for Ghana very clear. He has made it clear that he would never set his foot on Ghana soil because Ghana sold them into slavery during the trans Atlantic slave trade. Something that happened over 400 years ago when this current Ghanaian generation was not there and is very innocent of what took place during that time. He still harbors bitterness against Ghana and Ghanaians and West Africa. Look for that video and watch it for yourself. He and Philip Scott vowed in that video that they will never have anything to do with West Africa, especially Ghana because Ghana sold them into slavery, can you imagine? Unfortunately for Oshay, Philip Scott has changed his mind and has come to a realization that he cannot blame Ghana and Ghanaians for something that happened more than 400 years ago, when in fact, there was no country in this world called Ghana around that time. So Mr Philip has made a brilliant decision to return to Ghana in August this year with his tour group. So to you, Mr Oshay, no need to harbor any bitterness against Ghana because Ghana hasn't done anything to you or sold any of your ancestors okay. If you have any evidence that suggests that Ghana has sold any of your ancestors you can tender it in.

No one on this show was negative about Ghana. We have to stop being so sensitive. They merely discussed the pros and cons of each country. In the same way, someone in Ghana might discuss the pros and cons of Kumasi or Accra. We in Africa need to learn to be objective in listening to opinions. Depending on each person, different countries can be a better fit. If you want to act and be in Nollywood then Nigeria, if you want better infrastructure and government then Ghana.

What a great show. Easily my favorite among many good ones. Greg was Awesome. It would be nice to have Master Gabbs on the show more often. He's a special one. As a returnee i absolutely can relate 100%. Oshay is so right. Building a brand is really hard work. Just coz now you in Africa does not make it any easier. You indeed work harder than you ever did while in the diaspora and it takes serious commitment. There's guys sharper and smarter that you think and they will eat you for lunch every day. Stubbornness will kill you. You have to make a lot of adjustments without losing focus. Networking with like minded people will get you further here than it does in America. I cannot understate the importance of learning to listen and observing. Even with all it's shortcomings, Africa is Awesome. 254 is tuned in. Good job guys.

Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana are three English speaking countries with good infrastructures that many Blacks from diaspora are not taking advantage off to repatriate. Many foreigners from Europe, Asia, mostly Chinese and Indians, and White Americans are settling in these countries. Check the business climate and retirement cost of living in these countries mentioned above and make comparison. Africa is very big but one has to do his/her research before choosing which African to settle in….not all African country is the same. Also, many French speaking African countries are neglected due to language barrier but Ivory Coast, Senegal, Gabon, and the Republic of Congo are relatively peaceful countries to check out.

Good infrastructure in ZAmbia? Are you serious? Zimbabwe and Botswana may be. But Botswana has not Pan African vibe. The country is run by whites behind the scene. I like Zimbabwe but she is still struggling with sanctions. I think Zimbabwe is the best option. Mugabe lived in Ghana so he picked up some stuff from Kwame Nkrumah.

I am only stating the facts of how others ( Non-Blacks) are making use of all the vast opportunities these African have to offer. It’s left to Blacks in the diaspora to do their research on countries in Africa to also make use of all these vast opportunities (cheap land, cheap labor, low cost of living , beautiful hard working women, hard working men, business opportunities, less gun violence, etc) many African countries have to offer.

@@worldtraveler2417 I have no issue with facts you stated. What is a big no for me is the concept of inclusive for ALL when the others (Non-Blacks as you stated) have never, ever practiced the concept. I have never seen this successfully implemented anywhere on the planet. Personally, I would love to have the experiences that "the others" have had for so long of being with their own people. I have had enough of the facade of social experiments that will never work. I CANNOT and will NOT buy into the notion of treating US with hatred and disdain in their countries but forgetting and forgiving them other folks when they come to the continent. There has been NO repentance from any of them as a collective and definitely NO restitution from them. To me, those are some of the signs of a true enemy. I will ALWAYS treat MY enemies as MY enemies and I ALWAYS remember that they are MY enemies unless they repent and pay for what they have done. Otherwise, I think it is illogical for MY enemies to live among us. I hope this explains why it is a big no for me.

Most people don't stay in one job for the entirety of their life. Likewise, don't expect to stay in any country forever as an expatriate. Give it a go and try somewere else. I left London and went to UAE, in the first six months i said i would never leave UAE, but that was the honey moon period. I didn't realise when i was in the honeymoon phase. I left UAE a year after making that statement. I went to another arab country, also stayed for a year, then returned to London permanently. No country is perfect, absolutely none. Sometimes the problem is ourselves and our unrealistic expectations. Sometimes it is the trauma imbeded in us, which we carry from place to place. When we're in this condition, we are not only unrealistic, but we can be very selfish and immature. We give off vibes that draws negative people, rejection or reactions towards us. Keep yourself informed, set goals and recognise when the time is up.

I don't see why people are exchanging unpleasant words here because there's nothing wrong with comparison especially if you wish to relocate to another country, I wonder why some people take offence when people weigh out negatives versus positives. No country in the world is all hunky-dory but you choose the one that works for you. The problem I've seen is that Africans don't want anyone speaking negatively about their country which is wrong allow people to air their opinions based on their own experiences nothing wrong at all.
