Thank you. ഓരോ താപനിലയിലും അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിൽ താങ്ങാവുന്ന humidity level വ്യത്യാസമാണ്. താപനില കൂടുതലാണെങ്കിൽ കൂടുതൽ നീരാവി താങ്ങാൻ കഴിയും. അതായത് അന്തരീക്ഷ താപനില കുറയുമ്പോൾ relative humidity കൂടും. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് 35 degree ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ 50% relative humidity ആണെങ്കിൽ താപനില കുറയുമ്പോൾ അത് കൂടി കൂടി ഏകദേശം 23 degree ആകുമ്പോൾ 100% എത്തും - അപ്പോൾ condensation നടന്ന് dew ഉണ്ടാവും. അപ്പോൾ 35 degree താപനിലയും 50% relative humidity ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ dew point 23 degree ആണ്.

I appreciate your efforts. Please note that air coolers are not supposed to be used in a concealed area. Use it in an open area. To cool the box place the cooler outside the box and direct air to the box and check temperature.

Superb video! I agree completely with your views and I am equally impressed with your explanation. I have been using an air cooler since one year. Last year when I purchased the cooler, relatively the previous year (2023) was not this hot. However this year (2024) has turned out to be hotter and it will only keep increasing. I noticed what you very well explained. My room was closed and I started feeling more hotter but as soon as I exited the room into the living area, I noticed it's actually cooler there than my own room. I was beginning to wonder how and speculated whether the cooler was not working at its best condition, given the purchase was only a year ago. Thanks. If kept in a well-ventilated area, it will limit the increase in humidity. But even then, it is not an effective cooling solution for humid places as evident from the evaporative cooling chart shown in the video.

Air coolers will work very efficiently but not the ones we get in India. Evaporative coolers in Australia are mounted on top of every house. The cooler pushes moist air through roof with a high pressure fan and the hot air escapes through all windows continuously. If the moist air cannot escape the house at that speed, it will become more humid and more hot.

As explained in the video, evaporative cooling is not efficient in humid places such as Kerala. In places with dry climate, it is an efficient solution.

Humidity is the real issue. In riyad and dubai, even if the temperature goes up to 35°, the real temperature will be the same. But in kerala, when temperature goes 32°, it really feels like 40°, because of high humidity.

Yes, it's possible. But every AC has a capacity - if room size gets bigger, it cannot cool efficiently and fast. So, if they're small rooms, then one AC might be enough. Check specs first.

Yes, dehumidifier will help keep humidity at a desired level and help reduce mold growth and other discomforts indoors. It is useful in humid places such as Kerala. Only thing to keep in mind is that it releases heat and is therefore not ideal when the climate is hot.

Thanks Good Information Bro. One doubt can i use it as a normal fan?. I currently have a Desert cooler. I only pump water btw 12pm - 3pm. That's where atleast it gonna work because of the heat and bit low humidity. On Evening and Night i only use the fan as it acts as a table fan. Better to use that way because it feels much better than a ceiling fan because celing fan gives very hot air comparing table fan. So fan maatram aayi cooler use chythal enthelum problem indo?

Correct ആണ്. Already air cooler ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കാതെ ഫാൻ മാത്രമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് വേറെ പ്രശ്‌നമൊന്നും ഇല്ല.

@@muhammedmishalc8919 Yes, humidity കൂടാതിരിക്കാൻ അത് സഹായിക്കും. ഒപ്പം പുറത്തു നിന്ന് fresh air എപ്പോഴും അകത്തേക്ക് കടക്കാനും സംവിധാനം ഉണ്ടാക്കുക.

Relative humidity during daytime in summer months (march, april) is 50-60% in Bangalore. So it can be used to limited effect in well-ventilated rooms during daytime.

What is your opinion about dehumidifier?? Is it useful in Kerala?

Yes, dehumidifiers can be used to set the humidity to a desired level. However, they're expensive and produce some heat when they work. So, modern air conditioners with 'dehumify mode' or 'dry mode' that can both cool the room and dehumidify at the same time might be a better solution for us.

Humidity is lower in the winter months and highest in rainy season. The average humidity in Kerala never goes below 60%. You can check the data for your location on weather websites.

തീർച്ചയായും സാധാരണ pedastal fan തന്നെയാണ് better. പറ്റുമെങ്കിൽ exhaust/intake fan വെക്കാനുള്ള സംവിധാനം ഉണ്ടാക്കുക - അത് രാത്രിയിൽ ഉള്ളിലെ ചൂട് കുറക്കാൻ സഹായിക്കും.
