Why is Vergil so freaking badass? It's pretty simple, have you ever heard of that say "When you unlock a boss as a playable character but he sucks"? ...Well, Vergil is the only boss character who doesn't follow that and in fact, on the hands of a well seasoned player, literally BREAKS the limits of the game. That's it, that's how badass Vergil is and why soooo many characters aspire to be like him.

I just realised something, When you think about it, Virgil's theme fits Alpha WAY too much: "I am the storm that is approaching" Sword skills aside, the punishing virus and the corrupted follow the ascendants wherever they go. "Reclaimer of my name" She is the original Lucia, ours is a copy of her and a pathetic one at that if you compare them. "My family crest is a demon of death" Although the crest of Gray Raven is gray feathers, all its members have demon horns. And it keeps going. Its themes of death and rebirth also fit her transformation into an ascendant, for example. I'm starting to think someone in Kuro games is a big fan of DMC. Or at least a big fan of Virgil.

Actually Narwhal Is the theme of Rosetta (the boss,will become playable characters in the future),and for those who want to know why alpha is call Lucia ,the truth is,alpha is another Lucia ,but she walk a totally different route compared to the another Lucia,she didn't meet Captain (player),she meet another one(you will find out in the future story),that's why she is so similar with Lucia,but also different with Lucia at the same time

I’ve been meaning to get into DMC for sometime, and I recently got exposed to Bury the Light memes, and my recommendations are filled with MOTIVATION now. I’ve always been such a slut for characters who do these multi-strike sword sheath attacks, and I never realized how Vergil is like the progenitor of that. So yeah I fell in love the moment I saw Alpha’s animations, and am now also going to be playing DMC.

Since you brought up DMC, I can't get out of my head how alike Dante and Vergil are compared to Lucia and Alpha. In CN and possibly in Global, Alpha is referred to as Crimson Abyss "Lucia", and most people already know that Dante and Vergil are not only rivals, but twins. I love the comparisons and POV's you have on PGR, Genshin, Honkai, etc. and every single time you have a hot take you make me more hyped for the future. #thanksforbeingyou

Lore wise Alpha's Frame is the Pre-formated B-frame that Lucia Lotus utilized BEFORE she gets a replacement arm in the very first battles of the prologue. Alpha is also been making on field repairs for over 2yrs to her frame meaning she's been thru physical hell and back. The reason Alpha's Hair turned white gradually also known as Marie Antoinnette Syndrome, was do to the unbairable amount of physical stress of being both infected with the Punishing Virus, damages her frame recieved, mental fatigue, all while fighting tooth and nail against her pursuers the Ascendants at the time until Luna showed up. Her chromatic eyes are also a product of the stress originally they matched however the Virus warped the coloration. Alpha's sword waves are also so powerful that the vibrations caused by the air making contact with the sonic waves causes Dimensional distortions further increasing their destructive power. Apparently even the weakest one which was recorded by a special Satelite emitted enough energy to destroy a fully Armored APC in a single strike, while the strongest recorded was powerful enough to Litterally OVERLOAD the Satelite's instruments and capacitors. The feedback was so strong in fact that it blew out several computers back at the Garden that were linked to the Satelite's systems. The fact she accomplishes all of this WITHOUT utilizing the punishing virus with a withered battered obselette frame that's been repaired repeatedly after enduring constant mental and physical suffering goes above and beyond to state that Alpha is superhuman at this point. So stating that Lucia Lotus is a pathetic "Copy" of the original is more than accurate, when the song I am a storm that is approaching Reclaimer of my name fits too accurately to describe her situation.

Ya know.... Now that i think about it. I look at this Lucia and Alpha thing not only as an Dante Vs Virgil thing, but as a similarity to Honkai when it all in blank is about "Who is the real Kiana?" This feels like one of those things. Watching this video all the way through and viewing the trailer. With all these Kaslanas with all the Sirin things going around..With all the things that could possibly be going on within Pgrs story. I feel like this is an inspiration of Devil May Cry - Mixed with Honkai Impact in some sense to make this beautiful game all together!

I love how alpha and lucia are both not only heavily inspired by vergil, but how they also have similarities to characters in metal gear rising, lucia being simmilar to raiden because they are both machines weilding a katana and they both start thier games with a more simple model when layer in the game their frame gets upgraded, and they are both super badass. And finaly alph ahowing similaritys to jetstream sam, raidens rival, with the level similaritys between alhpa and sam i can garentee that he had nore influence on her character than vergil. Ok to start the similaritys off, a red katana, a shethe that has a trigger that can be used to fire the blade out of the shethe, an attack that has cuts forming all around them, and even the fact that both or their strength is purely trained, because in mgr it is stated that sam despite being a cyborg is still mostly human, having a robotic arm because he lost it. And finaly to top it all off in the begining of both games it features alph and sam beating the absolute crap out of the protagonist. Also Ud if you havent played mgr before i would reccomend it for the music alone, stuff SLAPS, the gameply is awsome and the story is the type of cheesy action done more than right. I feel you would really like it.
