The creative force is what drives the universe to expand. So much of human creativity has been stifled or dumbed down by the constant distractions and fear based propaganda that seems to rule everyones lives. Go within and seek your creative soul by tapping into that beautiful thrum thrum of the universe trying to get our attention. Listen then listen some more to hear what is already inside us, that beautiful music of just being and remembering we are way more powerful than we know

I’m amazed how you find the time and the energy to create a new video every day while walking! The Camino itself can be a full time job, I found. I didn’t have the strength to edit my material while on tour, let alone back up my data every evening (so I did actually lose some files), but I understand very well the urge to preserve the precious moments on the way. Too often creativity is stifled in our everyday lives by all those things that we are required to do. All that bottled up creativity wants to be poured out … and one wants to keep a memory of the time when “the lid is taken off” and one is free to roam around … or do the Camino. Whether edited immediately or later when one has returned home might bring in a slightly different perspective, … but the urge to do so is the same, I think. Yes, and why not share it with others. May the audience be comparatively small, it is worth while. Absolutely. So, thanks for posting your thoughts and Camino experience. Keep it up if you can.

hey, yeah i don’t know either… it’s taking a lot of energy - but i really like the immediacy… unfiltered through hindsight. it’s a tough one… i need to make these, but i also think i have to slow down. thanks!🙏

Thank you for this and your art. A friend and I were watching Camino videos last year and came upon yours by chance. We both went 'Ah, yes, THIS is it' and we watched the longer ones in a movie night style on weekends. Like others writing on here, I feel really connected to your endeavours and perspectives. Sending gratitude and encouragement as you move onwards. You are seen.

Wow, thank you… I love reading this. But I’m trying to convey is ‘ what it is like to be on the camino’, as best I can. I’m glad you found my little channel, and I love the idea a few guys doing a movie night with my videos! 🤩

How to comment? Firstly, I believe the motivation drive that propels me to make work is much to do with my ego. I think deep down, I fear being invisible or not leaving a mark. Is this something you can relate to? Process has a lot to do with me as well. To some degree, it’s like playing with sand at the beach-“playing”. When I was teaching I used to get the students to think about ‘giving’ a photograph rather than ‘taking’ a photograph. Perhaps you could reframe your video in terms of; a gift, a token, rather than a record. The gift you are giving is expressing your vulnerability, your fears and your time. For me, your videos are a conversation, not a record. I often reflect on the Camino as I walk over a Roman road or bridge that I am a nobody, millions of ‘nobody’s’ have walked here before and millions will follow. That in an odd way is a great freedom-I am a nobody, I am free. Be careful not to be overtaken by the tyranny of the everyday video. What would happen if you took a positive decision not to make a video. Your reflection on your ‘day off’ would be interesting and self revealing. Just some curved balls to throw at you. Buen Camino.

a lot of food for thought. good stuff. thank you. I thought about it a lot while walking the Meseta today. and taking the day off to heart, because I don’t think I can keep it up at that pace. Will get back tour msg later
