Why am I not getting any interviews? Ugh...

I have applied to jobs in higher ed with no luck. These aren’t teaching jobs, they’re more like student advising. I have 8 years of secondary teaching experience and taught college level classes, so I feel that is relevant experience but maybe I’m wrong. I’m a good writer and I feel I write strong cover letters, but maybe my resume isn’t highlighting my strengths.

I know that feeling ... and you have some exceptional skills that you can highlight on your job application materials. Are you not getting interviews? or are you not moving past your interviews? Two separate solutions for each case.

Thanks so much. I am also fighting ageism even though I'm capable. How do I address this? I still need full-time employment. By the way, I'm not 65 yet. That is a few years away.
