Are u a women or a man your photo looks like a young girl . HAVE U prayed to GOD in earnest for a helpmate ? It is right to let God select the right one for u , but he/she needs to be single and no divorce from their mate that's still living ! But, everyone should pray to God when He judges us, He gives a lot of SLACK on this problem ! He does say He repents that He had to make man in the flesh, but it was either that or kill all his fallen kids in the first age ! The flesh age is where we are today , the 2nd Earth Age . Peter mentions the 3 earth ages , but there is more about in the Word . I think God might want u to write a book about your life if u are the real deal !

I didn’t marry until I was 46 and I am now happily married and God has blessed me with my own babies! The babies came naturally after menopause and after 50! God is so good! I had to drop my obsession with wanting a husband. I was bad at waiting and the pain would sometimes double me up. Learning to make Jesus my all and all, my focus and the lover of my soul… this was crucial. Then he gave me it all! God is faithful. I had relationships that didn’t work out… ‘Christian’ men who were narcissistic or who wanted sex before marriage. God won’t bless that. We have to wait and live our lives focussed upon him and he will bless that. First and foremost we have to deal with our rejection issues and let Jesus heal our soul wounds. Find peace… then an equally healed and whole man will be drawn to you. … or like me… then lead a great man to the Lord! He is now a strong man of God on fire for the Lord! This only happened because I was healed and whole, confident and uncompromising in my faith. Peace, wholeness and Jesus is an attractive package.

At times I have felt that I’m weird or different but I know that is the enemy making me “feel” that way. Our society in America puts a lot of pressure on getting married and having a family (I so desire that now) but it’s not a must. Father may have other plans for singles so we have more time and less distractions for Him. Seek first the kingdom of God and ll these things will be fed onto you. After all, God is the one who gives us the desires of our heart. Bless you all and let’s all keep praying for each other ❤️.

I really appreciate it hearing her story.. seasoned singles often get told that XY and z needs to be in place before God will give them their spouse. Usually it's some advice about being content, healed, not desiring marriage and then it will happen. That advice is unhelpful Since those rules often didn't apply to those who were blessed to get married early in life. I love that there were people praying for her throughout her entire season of singleness. It can be a really rough lonely, journey and it helps to have people praying, encouraging and cheering us on along the way.

Women tend to idolize marriage, especially Christian women. I'm speaking about myself too. Idolatry is a sin and one of the 10 Commandments. If it's God's will for you to be married, work on your relationship with the Godhead, fall in love with Them and work on yourself. God's faithful. Look at all of the times when He came through for you. It will happen. Don't loose your faith. Find your purpose while being single. A man or woman didn't die on the Cross for you, Jesus did!!! Ladies, I'm praying for and love you!!!

I agree there seems to be an idolatry but on the contrary. Can a comment like this move into over criticism? That emotional desire is normal and natural even more for women. The challenge is making sure people don’t allow their heart to venture into idolatry but it is okay and at times necessary for broadcast like this to create a healthy space of dialogue for people especially our sisters in Christ to talk about these things. Balance essentially

Went through life rejection after rejection and at one point idolizing marriage which I had to repent for. Today I am healed from my past, and I can confidently declare that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is so much more than enough. He is the gentleman I longed for. My wife and I married late (early 40s). In hindsight, we both agreed that one of the worst things Christians do, when it comes to a life partner, is "wait on the Lord". Look at what Abraham's servant said when he was looking for a wife for Isaac: "I, being in the way, the Lord led me." Gn 24:27 A parked car isn't going to go anywhere. We have to step out in faith and the Lord will guide us. Most people will not find a husband or wife if they don't put themselves out there, and do some dating.

I dont know if i believe the idea that we need to be 'ready' to get married. Many marry in their youth and grow together without having to 'do the work' or be 'complete and whole' beforehand. When she said God said she wasn't ready it suggests that she was too 'flawed' for a marriage. None of us will ever be perfect so it is unfair for some of us to have to 'do the work' while others don't have that longwinded journey to marriage. There has to be another explanation. In my view marriage, life etc is not a right but we have those things only by the grace of God.

@@4leafclover395 Thank you for your response. I am seeking the Lord about this too as I agree that some of the messages about singleness do not provide much encouragement to those of us in later stages of life who are on this journey ❤️

Maybe it has more to do with waiting on God's best scenario. Truthfully, many of us could be married earlier if we go according to our own timeline.
@PeaceIsYeshuaАй бұрын
@@simonebiggs7726 I agree about God’s best scenario! I don’t think it’s that we’re not ready. It’s God’s timing and His plan. He’s knows better than we do! I trust Him 💯%! ❤

God knows best for sure. You can be married and still be crying out to God. You can rush into marriage and find out you married the wrong person cause we go on our own emotions.

Sooo true!! I could have married men that were considered a real catch, but I didn’t have a peace about them. Better to be single than in an unhappy marriage. I’m mid 40s and never married.

I was single till I was 29 when I got married. For 9 of those years I pressed into God so hard that I got to have a deep connection with the Lord through the Holy Spirit. I wish I had known that the time I was praying for a mate that it would be my most treasured times I have ever had with the Lord. When ur married to someone who doesn’t love the Lord or walk as closely as you it moves you farther away. Along with the demands of marriage and being a parent, and for me providing for the family, it was to much a lot of the time. I have often missed the alone time deep in the presence of the Lord. I have experienced God since then but the last 15 years have been difficult. The Lord in his gracious love gave me the family I had longed for, even at the cost of less of a relationship with Him. I am so grateful and blessed with my children. Marriage has been hard, but I pray God will move in it and show me and the world why he brought us together, if not more than for the children.

It’s rather misleading to say that after a person comes to the point of contentment here or she will find a spouse. That doesn’t always happen. That would be like saying once a couple becomes content without having a child, the wife will all of a sudden get pregnant. It’s not a guarantee.

John begins his gospel with focusing on a person he refers to as the Word The Word was with God the Word is God - the same was in the beginning with God - then John makes a most Astounding statement - IN this person the Word IS Life - and for me that means everything in Life including all the issues that I'm not sure about- I don't understand - whatever - so I can look INTO this person the word who is Jesus and know that IN him I can expect all the outcomes to all my issues because DRUM ROLL PLEASE In HIM Is LIFE - unfortunately we have a system of theology which often divorces us from the Revelation and reality of that truth - a system of theology in itself cannot make that connection with the accompanying impact - but hey the good news is that the Holy Spirit is not a system of theology

God timing as I’m watching this after it came up on my TL after my quiet time this am. During my quiet time I felt I led to rebuke a spirit of unworthiness since childhood which made me feel ashamed and hurt over feeling unworthy of marriage, and always being second or least best! Clearly God is confirming that He’s healing my brokenness …I’m 65yrs and never married because I felt so unworthy of anyone. I e never had a best friend either. God understands and cares 🙏✝️🌈💝

Thank you for your testimony. I am single. I have had some proposals that came to nothing in my mind. Jobs, friends, men, family, things. I was offended. I am forgiven. I forgave. I wait still for my desires. I pray for mankind to wait on Gods timing and for the best plan and dreams to happen in Jesus name Amen 🙏In no particular order. I pray for Gods design in my everything and for whomever is reading this. May you be blessed. 🌸
