Well... That's a video. I assume this is meant to be satire given the amount of glaze on the American influence over the medium. With that in mind, in the spirit of the video, well done, nicely executed.

You're absolutely right! 😊 I'm glad you noticed the satire, and I'm really happy you enjoyed it. I worked hard on this video, so it can be a bit tough when there are dislikes or negative comments. But I’m really grateful for feedback like yours! I'm already working on a second video, and I hope it’ll be even better!

@@AnimeXtreme4ever Don't sweat the negatives too much. The dislikes either don't get satire or just downvoted without watching. I was going to say your delivery lacks sarcasm but then I remembered the onion does something similar. The topics are outlandish so you know it's nonsense but they deliver in an almost straight laced kind of way so if you're not paying attention you can get caught up til they say something ridiculous.

Hmm, I think they’re more obsessed with Germany instead of America. You’ll see a lot of anime that uses German names/words.

I appreciate your comment and perspective! You’re absolutely right that German influences appear in a lot of anime, especially in shows like Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. However, if you watch until the end, there's a twist that ties everything together, showing why the focus on America isn’t random-it all comes together in a surprising conclusion. I also think many aspects of these shows are influenced by American history and culture as well, particularly in themes like freedom, rebellion, and individualism. I'd love to hear your thoughts after you've seen the whole video!

AoT and FMAB are both very heavily influenced by German culture. Hence the names of the characters in both shows. The architecture of the buildings in both shows. Not American inspired like the characters from MHA

You're absolutely right about the strong German influences in Attack on Titan (AoT) and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (FMAB), especially in the character names, military structure, and architecture. But I also think there’s some American influence in both series. For example, in AoT, the concept of freedom and individualism, as seen with Eren’s desire to break free from the walls, resonates with American ideals. Similarly, FMAB reflects the American ethos in its portrayal of scientific progress and moral dilemmas, much like early 20th-century America. Even the way the military operates in FMAB has some parallels with American narratives about state power and rebellion. So, while German culture is dominant, I do think American themes sneak in as well!

seems like a forced perspective. As much I like America being shown in animes, I wouldn't say its an obsession. I mean most of all modern media must have American influence in it-- the US is too big of a cultural superpower. 3:25 and this all seems much more European than American.
@AnimeXtreme4ever5 күн бұрын
Yeah, that's right! But that’s actually the whole point I was trying to make. Many people automatically associate anime with Japan or other Asian countries. So, where does the American influence come in? Is it really anime's obsession with America, or could it be that Americans are becoming more and more obsessed with anime?
@AnimeXtreme4ever5 күн бұрын
3:25, you think so? I believe it comes from The United States of America!

this is the worst video ive ever seen. Attributing all of that to the US specifically lmao the only good and valid example is MHA with comic's superheroes, and that's it.

Hmm, thank you for sharing your comment and opinion. May I ask where you're from? It seems like you might not have watched the whole video, as there's a major twist at the end.

I'm really sorry to hear that you feel this way-it’s tough to read, especially since I put a lot of work into this video. That said, I really appreciate your honest opinion because feedback like yours helps me improve. I understand My Hero Academia might be the clearest example, but I was aiming to explore American influence beyond just superheroes. I’ll definitely take your thoughts into account as I work on my next video, and hopefully, I can make the point clearer next time. Thanks again for taking the time to share your perspective!

Thanks so much! 😊 This is actually my first video, and I put a lot of hard work into it, so seeing comments like yours really makes my day. It’s true, there’s been some hate, and I was honestly doubting whether to continue. But support like this motivates me to keep going and create another video! Hopefully, the next one will be even better!
