Ya the movie didn’t convey its themes and messaging well. “Promising Young Women” and just this year “My First Film” both directed by women do a better job than this film.

I liked the movie alright. I didn't know about the 'based on a true story part', so the plot kind of just felt like stuff happening. Looking forward to more movies from Anna Kendrick.
