So I use asus vivobook s433eq my pc has 1.Fingerprint sensor 2. many windows laptop can be open one handed 3.Technically windows laptop is more easy to use to actual tech savy people (who knows about tech) 4. There is a microsoft store , as same as apple app store 5.Mine is 1.3 kg (lightweight ) and full aluminium body only battery life is better in mackbook but is it worth the non upgradeable storage and low storage compared to price edit : Due to latest optimization , win laptops are coming with higher battery power and lower consumption . Pretty close to macbook.

Microsoft store isn't as good as apple store even though it has improved a lot since the windows store days. It isn't as refined either, last week only I was using it to download some apps and it was stuck on installing, not to forget the update issues it gets. Most of the apps I used to download manually via the Microsoft store repository and install it via the package installer, especially newer versions of apps, media player last year, WhatsApp beta last year, etc. That's why I recently upgraded from my hp pavilion x360 to a macbook M1 air and I love it. I never knew that I will ever love an apple product this much after being a windows user for more then a decade, from seeing the microsoft surface ads that mocked MacBooks to actually using a macbook, it has been a great journey

@@sharathchandra6166 looks like you do have a skill issue as the guy above me rightfully said. Most of the programmers in fact use macos, plus you get the exclusive and pretty powerful xcode. I am a CSE student and my macbook has been smooth asf. PS: I was a windows user for more then a decade before buying my macbook (first apple product too) and damn I love the software experience.
