Funny thing is, Dragon Ball never officially stated that’s how it works. People say ‘we see it happen all the time’ but don’t stop to think of the possibility that maybe it’s not the fact that stronger people negate hax in Dragon Ball, but Dragon Ball as a verse has an inherent weakness of their hax not working on stronger individuals unlike other verses where hax is made to take on stronger people usually. Like in the manga where it’s explained Hit’s time skip is less effective the stronger you are Bleach for example explicitly says they can negate weaker abilities with superior strength, so it’s not an inherent weakness of Bleach haxes but an actual ability to negate powers

Then therefore gokus enemies have no ki control and goku could slam them due to their physical prowess being inferior because to dragon ball characters if you don't have ki you are nothing. If we consider Sonic as a whole, his skills in Frontiers further improves his odds. As he has far better long range attacks at his disposal. Not to mention the levels of speed he could go. Obtaining an advanced state of Super, which the wiki calls "Starfall Super Sonic". If he lost this power permanently or not is yet to be decided but regardless, that adds to his feat list.

Archie Sonic I honestly feel is a very complicated character to scale in Versus videos like this, Archie Sonic has indeed done the feats of resetting/restoring the universe/timeline, once successfully and once unsuccessfully, this Sonic has also been knocked out by an anvil to the head Looney Toons style, he's gotten hit by a surprise attack from a gorilla (or maybe a log thrown by the gorilla, can't fully remember) that isn't even 1% of Sonic's speed, and I'm quite sure he's tripped on exposed branches for not looking a couple of times. Thing is that the Archie Sonic Comics change A LOT from the early issues to when Ian Flynn arrives (Issue 160 onwards and let's be real that's when the comic got consistently good), there's a reason almost all Archie Sonic fans will recommend new readers to start at Issue 150 since it's more consistent and less confusing and ilogical, some stuff shown early in the comic obviously aren't actul things to take seriously otherwise Sonic would have used his Plot Manipulation to revert Sally's robotization and Antoine's coma, even the Super Genesis Wave. I think that if Archie Sonic is going to be pitted against a character from another universe people should concentrate and specify what version of the character they're talking about cuz you can't tell me with a straight face and no shred of sarcasm that the Sonic who can manipulate the plot, who can make time move forward with speed alone and has to be killed at least a billion times to stay dead is the same Sonic that was unable to save Antoine from being hit by an explosion that put him in a coma, who couldn't Stop Mecha Sally despite him not holding back, and who straight up lost to Eggman once and would have totally died in that moment if Eggman wanted. And in case anyone thinks I'm saying this because I want Goku to win, I'll say that if it's Super Sonic Goku loses, he's strong but there's not much he can do against unlimited power, but I do believe Base Sonic loses, he's way overrated and I can't see him coming close to destroying an Eggman ship in a single blow without external help, let alone a planet.

Weirdly... I actually kinda disagree that base form sonic loses. Base form, he can move so fast.. that he can move when time isn't moving at all. It isn't instantaneous like Rimuru, and is isn't like Goku or Jerin breaking through Hit's time skip, because canonicaly that was because of the match up. But just no tricks at all, with just sheer speed he can move without time. Which puts him at unreasonable speed. + the whole "Ran faster than time" line which is its own bag of worms. + the video assumes that chaos force is 6D when it's completely transdimensional. The chaos force is so weird and powerful, that SS survived the SGW which... erased the chaos force... which was powering SS... This is an illogical level of power. But even base form he slaps pretty hard.

@@lorrainebrunner2490 What I'm trying to say is that the Base Sonic from issue 150 and forward doesn't feel like the same Sonic from early Archie, his feats at the start of the comic are more comical and cartoony while Sonic at least since issue 150 has more serious and consistent abilities and feats, not that he's weak or anything like that but if he was that fast that he could run through time then he would have used his speed to save his friends in several occasions, like Antoine or everyone else when Eggman invaded Knothole, and once again he lost to a Mech the Doctor made specifically to beat him and said Mech was destroyed by Sonic's friends as he didn't even have to get involved. My point is that Archie Sonic's abilities are inconsistent both because of the different writers and because of the comic getting more serious later down the line, I'm mostly talking about Sonic after the comic got more serious at about issue 150, that Sonic while very powerful I just can't see being able to even damage Goku who can take attacks from Galaxy destroyers. Of course if we take into consideration all of the feats Sonic has displayed in the comic even the most cartoony ones then it's definitely difficult to see Goku beat Plot Manipulation. I'm basing my opinion on what I've seen in Archie Sonic which I've read almost in it's entirety.

@@santiagosuarezzambrano9384 okay so I personally agree with you in the concept that not only should Archie be capable of far greater feats than he has shown at times however it isn't as much a powerscaling inconsistency as a storyline inconsistency and it's almost necessary too. A perfect example of this would be the issue with the Flash television show, a character with incredibly similar speed based abilities to Sonic however just like him he doesn't constantly use time travel or his Irrelevant levels of speed to win every fight in less than a zentosecond. I wish I could give an actual reason behind why he doesn't show consistant feats, but the most likely reason is the fact that it would be nigh-impossible to make Sonic consistently the same level of strength. That can even be shown by Goku taking damage from being dragged across a god damn mountain by Broly. Even then, it's actually stated Goku is using his own Ki to literally maintain the fabric of the Universe so it doesn't vanish every time he breathes.

@@leafydoesedits3266 yeah, like one of the writers of one of the God of War games said, most of the time you can't show properly a character's abilities due to the limitations of the medium in which said character is shown, Kratos being an example, he's hundreds times more powerful than the majority of enemies he encounters and he's been said to be able to dodge lightning, but since he's in a videogame he can still be killed by the weakest enemies and be hit by normal arrows. Still, what I'm trying to say is that early Archie Sonic and post Issue 150 (possibly a little sooner) Archie Sonic, in my opinion, should have their feats separated from one another at least when it comes to powerscalling, because of course its going to be extremely inconsistent, otherwise the same guy that can run so fast that he moves out of time itself is also the same guy that got knocked out by an anvil to the head. That's why I honestly prefer Archie Sonic post Issue 150, he's much more consistent power-wise AND he manages to be more "grounded" when it comes to scaling him, I personally have never seen him as the outerversal being many people make him out to be, maybe one of his transformations like Hyper Sonic could indeed fall in that category but base Sonic nah.

So far I have not found a video that accurately scales both characters. But I would love to see a Comp Sonic vs a Comp Goku. Considering there is canon Goku, and Xeno, I'm not sure if Sonic has any other Overpowered versions of himself, but there is Hyper Sonic that would technically be x7 stronger then Ultra. And if Base Archie Sonic had put pressure on Dark Enerjack( Not sure if it was super or base ) there's no doubt that Sonic would have no problem pressuring MUI Goku. Forgot to say. I agree, but I hate when powerscalers pull junk like this. They always use the strongest versions of characters and put them up against regular ol' Goku. It's the most unfair thing. Where is Xeno Goku, where is CC Goku, where is JF Goku, where's GF Goku? These are all official versions of Goku. They might not be canon to the main timeline, but they are part of alternate timelines. But no, they love to use the weakest version of Goku. Superman fanboys pull that all the time. They'll use either comp Superman, or Cosmic Armor Superman, and then they'll pair that up against the weakest version of Goku (main timeline.) I'm not saying not to powerscale. All I'm saying is to make it fair. If you're going to use the strongeat version of a certain character, also use the strongeat version of Goku. I do think Archie sonic wins but I kinda don’t like how you went about it. There’s a lot of different writers throughout Archie Sonic’s run and in like the first 30ish issues, there’s a lot of gag stuff that doesn’t get carried over by other writers. I think when doing debates like these, it’s probably better to separate which era or writer of Archie Sonic you’re talking about. Ian Flynn more or less (minus genesis wave), made base sonic more grounded in areas. I think separating them makes sense since we more do that for DC for their powerscaling as well (golden age, silver age,etc)

Think about it, Goku breaks the 4th (or is it 5th wall), in his fight against Yamcha but nobody uses that when scaling Goku. Sonic is a lot more gag in nature until other writers start writing for him and then he gets more consistent. I just think you do need to seperate this stuff better because some of the crazy stuff that happens in the first issues of Archie Sonic, is stuff that issue 250+ Sonic cannot even do anymore.

12:35 Just want to point out that Rewriting and Erasing are two different things,and erasure differs because im tired of people just seeing one instance of someone surviving erasure and somehow thinking they can resist every form of erasure now. for example Batman a peek human was capable of surviving darkseid’s omega beams,and Merged Zamasu was capable of barely surviving Goku’s hakai,but that doesn’t mean they will resist all the time tho,trust me if Base Sonic survived being Erased from some random thing in his own verse that does not mean at all the Hakai can’t just straight up erase him from existence.

Agreed a lot of the way this was presented doesn't make sense but nonetheless it sounds like Archie Sonic has the better feats. I am however bothered by the fact they've got anime and I'm guessing either a movie or game cutscene in the background while also using manga and guide statements. While I don't think that changes the outcome, it does change the feats and their consistency. For example Jiren in the anime is stronger than every god of Destruction individually making mui Goku above Beerus in the anime as he proved himself stronger than Jiren, that's how it's presented anyways. But manga mui Goku isn't anywhere near Beerus as Quitela is the one Stronger than Beerus not Belmod and Beerus can even take on almost all if not all the gods of destruction at once and win, making the power scaling in anime and manga vastly different.

Bro you can easily do the same statements of sonic to Goku and his cosmlogy. Even Zamasu affecting an multiversal timeline of higher dimensional realms, even becoming concepts such as justice is still below jiren who can glare spiritbombs and Vegeta blue eveolution. Goku scales massively above that. The erasure argument for sonic is vague, doesnt show what type of erasure is. Hakai goes from spritual to even time and space existence level of erasure or evne more as Black was supossed to be affected by this (a separated timline Zamasu)

Sonic. Base form, he can move so fast.. that he can move when time isn't moving at all. It isn't instantaneous like Rimuru, and is isn't like Goku or Jerin breaking through Hit's time skip, because canonicaly that was because of the match up. But just no tricks at all, with just sheer speed he can move without time. Which puts him at unreasonable speed. + the whole "Ran faster than time" line which is its own bag of worms. + the video assumes that chaos force is 6D when it's completely transdimensional. The chaos force is so weird and powerful, that SS survived the SGW which... erased the chaos force... which was powering SS... This is an illogical level of power. But even base form he slaps pretty hard.

You’re referring to a game mechanic. Archie Sonic when he absorbs the billions of rings which means he has the power of 1 super emerald. Archie sonic tanked harder than goku a lot. In the games however the rings mechanic was eventually removed in frontiers making sonic have actually hp. Goku cannot one shot a blue mobian which he has irrelevant speed and greater cosmology. Multiple universes≠multiple dimensions. Bear with me, this is very trippy and very difficult to explain. A dimension is not a form of space, you cannot “be in another dimension”. Dimensions are linked to coordinates: to define what “dimension” an object occupies (would be better to say “to fall under” than “to occupy” but for the sake of simplicity and clarity I’ll use both arbitrarily) a line is a one dimensional object meaning you can only measure and give coordinates to its length, a plain, on the other hand, is bidimentional, so, to describe a point in said plain you need two coordinates and so on. Being able to wonder through universes doesn’t make you a 4th dimensional being, let alone 6th or 7th as said in this video, Neither goku nor sonic are that. This said you could argue that both are fourth dimensional if you consider time the 4th dimension, but at that point we all are 4th dimensional beings since we all experience time and can be given time coordinates. Tbh the whole conclusions you came up with in this video are completely yapping and gibberish (funnily enough Italian has an exact word for this “supercazzola” which refers to an argument filled with big words often even inexistent.
