Why Are Anime Games So Awful?

most of these games would be 2 times better if they just spent more time on the physic system. even if you specifically don't like sparking zero, you have to admit it's setting a great standard thanks to it's great physic system where combos feel great, and so did it's predecessors xenoverse and fighterz. The biggest problem with jjk cursed clash is that it's physic system is so floaty that combos and moves that should have impact feel like tickling with extra flare.

Bro people don't realize how big that is. Its why I don't like street fighter 6. The heavy attacks don't feel like they hurt. I'm not a fan of sparking combo system but I'd be lying if those combos and sfx didn't make landing attacks feel great!

@RealTrueKingsDen exactly! And that's why the my hero arena fighters work and jjk cursed clash doesn't. The MHA fighters are built around being more floaty and have satisfying combos and SFX to fit that kind of phisic. MHA floatiness feels like a creative direction, while cursed clash's feels like a fatal flaw. And another very important thing to factor in when making an anime physics engine is working special moves into said engine. This is important because balancing your phisic system around your mooves is crucial to avoid spamming. This is why rush attacks innthe Naruto area fighters and the Bd xenoverse series work while spamming in a game like jump force feels way too easy.

As a person who still has jump force I have to say its quite good to play story mode and 1v1 friends It's wacky fun besides the style of the game and the insane amount of flashy particle effects it's good for what it does and for dlc they were fairly cheap less then £30 all dlcs

Im glad you can enjoy it. I barely played it cause none of my friends bought it and I didn't like the story. I could've have fun with any Character besides midoriya but his design was so bad I couldn't look at him anymore lol. Yugi was a cool addition though. Just wish he was in a better game imo

Why is Ultra Rumble in the thumbnail? The game is actually good. Putting it in the same space as Cursed Clash is just straight disrespectful.

As someone that played a ton of ultra rumble the game has always been bad. I just enjoyed a bad game. Glitch, competitive pay to win gacha, new tuning system is more pay to win, etc. I talked about it some in my shiggy and season 8 videos if u wanna see my thoughts so I'm not going to go into here.

@RealTrueKingsDen I haven't seen a single glitch in the game and it's definitely not pay to win. That's coping. Some of the best characters in the game you got very early. (At least in terms of the earlier days since Bakugou, Shoto, and Toga have all been nerfed.) But even then the tickets are extremely generous. I have every character minus Present Mic and Overhaul and I barely spent a dime on Ultra Rumble. I'm not gonna speak on behalf of Tuning as it's relatively new and I haven't seen many people have a fully jacked out Tuning setup. My only complaint is the amount of hackers left and right that I see daily. (I play it on Xbox too.)

If u don't think its pay to win your coping. The best characters are all behind the gacha. You need characters unlocked to use their tuning special skills. Like the only launch character that id say is still decent are Iida and Yellow deku. Do you though. If you like it that's great but don't cape for a bad game. I enjoyed it from beta but I knew it was bad. It's pretty fun but everything surrounding the fun makes bad.

@RealTrueKingsDen That's wrong. Bakugou and Shoto are both free and very early to get. A lot of non-gacha characters are still very good too like All Might and Shigaraki. Yellow Deku is average at best. No one uses him either because most characters out-perform him. Nobody's coping for a bad game. You're coping to make a game sound way worse than it actually is. Especially when the actual *gameplay* for Ultra Rumble is very fun.
