As a 65 yo woman, sister to 3 men and mom to a 31 yo son, I completely agree w your dad, Asmon. The sixties brought the Vietnam war alongside the rise of feminism. Men who didn’t want to be drafted were deferred if they went to college. That was the beginning of current day troubles. Higher “education” was diverted into an incubator for the gender war and polarization of the sexes. Men who went to Vietnam were totally demonized and discarded by much of the population as the truth of the war were revealed. They were caught in the middle and sacrificed at the alter of the inception and conception of gender wars. Social engineering. Traditional women who chose to be stay at home moms were told we didn’t work and were relegated to a “lower social status”. Stay strong guys. My husband and I have been married 41 years and we’ve taken turns being “weak” and supporting each other. No way Kamala would have withstood the interview though. That's a failing of Kamala Harris herself though, since the Dems could have picked any candidate that could have held their own for three hours on Rogan. Kamala's entire run was based on her ego. She's probably an even bigger narcissist than Trump, but not nearly as intelligent or skillful in a hostile environment.

@@Kanaleah True but wrong reasons. I have yet to see any bigger narcissist than Trump, and I grew up with one so I know em when I see em. @@MAup most people in executive leadership positions and politics are narcissists. Most are just intelligent enough to hide it from plain sight.
@ShadowReaperX0716 күн бұрын
Because inevitably this will arrive in the comments. Kamala refused by proxy, by essentially saying 'Yes, I'll agree to an interview but only on my time, with essentially no notice, and only for an hour'. Now given that it is Kamala that is trying to accrue enough votes to win the presidency, you can't fault the organization offering an Interview platform, for saying "Too short notice". There's also the unspoken subtext that they'll have weighed up whether anyone watching Rogan would even take on the messaging (and Vote for Harris) or whether that time could be better spent elsewhere, but refusing an interview for those reasons is bad optics, so they'll instead agree in such a way that the 'blame' is dispersed because of 'schedule conflicts' and not 'No one watching is going to believe a word that I say and will be made to look awful on hard questions'. So for anyone going "That's not true". Technically yes, but the 'Gods honest truth' (Did it happen, or didn't it) was that Harris was offered and interview, and it never happened. To a man, that is essentially the same as declining an interview. The grander reasoning is basically immaterial.

But if so, the 20-3 ratio you’re talking about probably isn’t as significant as it seems. My husband and I balance each other out. That said: thank you so much for the work you and those in your profession do. We love our plumbers. They are some of the coolest trades people we have interacted with. @@YourRaincloud That's because women engage in character assassination moreso than physical aggression, whereas with men, it's the opposite. If a man has an issue with a man, they can get physical and settle the issue quickly. Then its over and done with, and both can go about their lives. If a woman has an issue with another woman (or man) they're more likely to scheme in order to destroy the other person's reputation with gossip and slander. Reputation is all a man has. @@michaelwebster6448 This is actually a pretty valid take on it. There's a handful of terms, like 'manhater' that were popular for a while, maybe at the expense of exposure to 'misandrist'. Exposure plays a large role in it. The other side of that coin is that there are a lot of people actively trying to reduce exposure to terms like that because they are seen as undermining the ideological status quo around feminism. I.e. 'misandry' is made up, what you were really trying to say is 'reverse sexism' and it's not real because women don't have institutional power, blah blah. So expose people to the very real and accurate term and call people out when they are actively trying to erase it.

I can tell you why without watching this. We are sick of being shit on for no good reason. There are like, 20 uber rich dudes in this world, and because that really, REALLY pisses some women off, ALL men have to make sacrifices to placate their whining. Women have been the majority of college students since the 1980s. That's over FORTY YEARS now, but what do they say to us? "Step aside and let WOMEN go!" Women STILL, to this day, get more scholarships, and have easier entrance requirements than men do. AND WE'RE STILL CALLED ASSHOLES ABOUT IT. Women pay the same for health insurance even though, as a group, they cost WAAAAAY more. That's right, men subsidize women's health care. But do we pay the same for car insurance? Nope. Men pay more. The truth is that men are fucked over in most ways in society, which, to be honest, I don't think men particularly mind much. But what breaks the camels back is that we're told we have it easier. We're told we're privileged. And they are VICIOUS about it, too. It's not even CLOSE to being polite. How long did women think they could just hate on us for before we did SOMETHING?

The Rep or Conservatives (Less right wing version of Republicans in Canda) focuses on the issues that impact me specifically. As a Canadian with a lot of friends my age in the states I completely understand why they would vote Rep and not Dem. Today it feels like everyone ignores or hates on young men, the more right sided parties give men a voice and allow them to express themselves in their version of masculinity. if your hobbies are gaming, bushcraft, fishing, reading, heck even curling no one on the right is going to harass you about what you want to do and just let you "be a guy,."
