Past experience has shown me that I am nothing more than a financial conduit for women. I gave up on female companionship in my early 50s. I simply won't allow myself to be used by women anymore. Now 27 tears later and still single, there is nothing a woman can bring to the table that is worth the potential of losing everything again. The law is in their favor since they're an entitled group in this society that can do as they please without consequence. While men are always held to a higher standard and required to give it all. Society has destroyed heterosexual compatability. I don't miss the gaslighting women so graciously offer.

True, all of Western Europe, and the 1st word. ANd not just us older men, but surprising men in their 20's and 30's are obviously checking out. These young men while having many faults of their own such as lack of fathers and corn addition, have to deal with a generation of women that takes the Disney Princess entitlement to 11. "They only deserve the best" and if they are not happy, it is always the man's fault. THrow in social media which no man can keep up with, and the situation becomes a break up waiting to happen. No-fault divorce insures that. As the family goes, so does society and the nation. Demographic collapse is upon us (albeit in slow motion). Change will happen regardless if we reform family laws or not as you can't put the feminist gennie back in the bottle. But be sure, economic collapse will erase feminsim and the nanny state. My heavenly-resplendent wife died in November 2010. She was like a gal from my mum and dad's generation - The Great Depression and WWII. Even whilst my wife was dying from an aggressive form of cancer, she still found time for me and even others about her. My wife had unwavering faith in Jesus the Christ - even up to her last heartbeat. She always backed up whatever I attempted in this life. I have yet to find a woman who thinks and believes like my deceased wife. "I'll Never Find Another You" (The Seekers) -- for My Barbra Rose (RIP) Barb, My Darling-of-Darlings, we will be together again (and Forever) -- soon enough.

I would like to point out something that seems to always be overlooked. Women age and also have health issues. You always hear that older men are looking for a nurse. Women experience health issues especially after menopause. Many men will become caregivers. I have personally seen these situations many times and can't recall how many men I have known who ended up caring for their wives. At present I know two couples and the husbands are caring for wives that now have dementia. One of the wives is only 62.

So many of us think this a men vs women issue, but it is really an issue of the difficulty of relationships in general. Most uf us who have walked the coals of bad relationships, realize that PEACE is more valuable than all the gold in the world. I wish I would have found a partner who was rght for me, but the older I get, the more I believe it is just a fairy tale. There was a time I felt broken-hearted about this reality, but now I just feel FREE! May you all enjoy peace and freedom!

Watch a few videos of J Krishnamurti speaking about love and relationships or Anthony de Mello speaking about Love. Additionally, there’s a video of Mooji speaking about “Finding a Life Partner” it’s hilarious. He brings the message home quite succinctly in that video. Here’s to truly LOVING your own company and appreciating good (well suited) company when it comes and not feeling lonely (especially not desperately lonely) ever again if/when it leaves. One more thing that I would recommend: Listen to the song “On the Inside” by Michael Franks. It’s a beautiful song…on a great album. Cheers! 💫

I’m 71 and have been single since my divorce in 1997. I’ve stayed single because meeting available women is difficult. The women I met had been married and had children…too many children, only interested in how much money I made, had unreasonable expectations, had taken poor care of themselves,or had never been in a long term relationship and there were good reasons. I just didn’t want to go through what I had just gone through with my ex wife. I’ve been relatively happy as a single man. I live my life the way I want. I get my companionship with my dogs, they are loyal, always happy to see me and don’t judge me.

‼️Book clubs. Many people enjoy them. Pickle ball is another thing that many people enjoy. ONLY do things that you feel INSPIRED to do. Not because you’re going to extract something from those activities. HOWEVER, I very strongly encourage you to enjoy your OWN company first, and when you do venture outdoors, don’t go LOOKING for anyone to give you attention or affection. Let things unfold organically…if you’re being your TRUE/natural self and they are being themselves (truly/naturally), then if something WHOLISTIC draws you to share some time together, it’ll be enjoyable for you both…for however long, with no desire to manipulate or play mind games with each other. Cheers! Cheers.

@@keithlowe9037 Thanks. I've always been a loner, but never really alone, until now. There is one girl that Mom hoped I might marry, who just got dumped after being strung along for years by a self-serving and duplicitous ex-fiance'. I'm sort of BFF friend zoned, but she recently said, "I could have married you." I once told her that she was one of two in my life whom I might have married, (the other having died) and that she should have gone with the "poor short guy that loves her." (She is a little shorter than I am, and five years older, but the ex was a foot taller) . Mom said that the girl and I made a cute couple, but was glommed onto by the other guy, before I made a move. There is hope---. Life does seem pointless, but I still go to the doctor, accomplish some house maintenance, and try to lose weight.

I'm 63 and semi-retired and still have a high sex drive. Women aren't interested or find the subject out of bounds, make it quite clear that there's nothing for them and aren't interested in my needs at all. Sex becomes taboo. On top of which, I'm not a bank to treat them every week to shows and meals out, wine and dine, and then they go home to their own lives. They think I will take them here and there. Women think they are doing me a favour, and I should be grateful for their company. Then there are those still hung up on their ex's continually asking about mine and then accuse me of not letting go. I just gave up, much better with my own company, I do what I please, and it's cheaper. I spend the money on what I want and get more pleasure out of it.
