Indian health system is far ahead of Canarda now, poor in India get free health insurance of Rs 5 lakhs under Ayushman Bharat Scheme. Canada lags now in every field. Those in Canada should do reverse migration.

ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆ ਦਾ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਆਉਣ ਅਸਲ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੋ ਅੱਜ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 40-45 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਨਸੰਖਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 4-5 ਬੱਚੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਬੱਚੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ। ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਹੁਣ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ stability ਆ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਧ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੋਚਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਜੀ

Persons who are doing well in India should never think of migrating. There is no pushing from India. Talented and smart people dont need to think of migrating. Canada is no longer an attractive destination. All facilities are available in India even public education and Medical institutions incl AIIMS are world class and affordable

Unskilled labor is the No. 1 reason. The Canadian govt was not able to figure out how to select the really skilled workforce from the ones who came with no or less skills or fake degrees. So ultimately, it is a loss for both Canada and the genuine skilled worker/candidates.

It's not that bad bro. Unskilled labour from India is the backbone of the canadain industry. Same as Mexican and Guatemalan nationals in the USA. Skilled and Unskilled labor are just now days grouped into one because society just doesn't care about people who work with their hands. It's an even bigger problem in india. An electrician here can make $40 an hour easily but you can't make even close to that in india. I personally think U.S. is best but Canada is still better than india

The number 1 reason for migration from India is lack of opportunities: not just in job but in education too. Limited seats, limited colleges (that are affordable) & to top that all the great quota system in action. With 65% reservation between SC/ ST/OBC/ PWD/ EWS, where do our children go for higher studies if we dont belong to any of the above category? And once they go out, they would not want to return easily as the salary levels & life styles they are used to now, are changed.

ਹੁਣ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਹੈ? ਸਤ੍ਹਰਵਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਬਹੁੱਤ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਦੋਂ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਬਰ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੰਮ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਫੈਕਟਰੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ 8-10 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। 1990 ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਚਲਰ ਅਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ 500 ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੈਡਰੂਮ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ 600 ਡਾਲਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਤਕਰੀਬਨ ਸਭ 10 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਪਣਾ 3-4 ਬੈਡਰੂਮ ਵਾਲਾ ਘਰ ਲੈ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਸੀ। ਗਰੋਸਰੀ ਇੰਨੀ ਸਸਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ 200 ਡਾਲਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਦਾ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਟੈਲੀਫੋਨ ਦਾ ਬਿਲ 10 ਡਾਲਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਵੈਨਕੂਵਰ-ਟੋਰੰਟੋ ਦੀ ਬਸ ਟਿਕਟ ਕੇਵਲ 100 ਡਾਲਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਦੇਣੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਸੀ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਬੜਾ ਸੌਖਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਬੱਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਸ਼ ਘੱਟ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦਾ ਮਿਆਰ ਇਤਨਾ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੱਚੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਰੋਬੋਟ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੀ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਜਾਣਾ ਪਵੇ ਤਾਂ 8-10 ਘੰਟੇ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ। ਨਵੇਂ ਇਮੀਗਰਾਂਟ ਟਬਰਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬੇਸਮੈਂਟਾਂ ਲੱਭਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਪਣਾ ਘਰ ਲੈਣਾ ਤਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਫਨਾ ਹੀ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਘਰ ਖਰੀਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤਕ ਮੋਰਗੇਜ ਦੇਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਕਈ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਸਾਂ ਵਿਆਜ ਹੀ ਦੇ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਮੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਕਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ। ਬਸ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਇੰਨੀਂ ਘੱਟ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ 100 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਵਾਰੀਆਂ 38 ਸੀਟਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਬੱਸ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁੱਤ ਹੀ ਬੁਰਾ ਹਾਲ ਹੈ। 25-30 ਲੱਖ ਖਰਚ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਬੇਸਮੈਂਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 4-5 ਇਕੱਠੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਕੰਮ (ਵੇਅਰਹਾਊਸਿੰਗ, ਰੀਟੇਲ ਕੈਸ਼ੀਅਰ, ਸਕਿਓਰਿਟੀ) ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ 2 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਘੱਟੋ ਘੱਟ ਉਜਰਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਮ ਹੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ (ਇੱਕ ਲੱਖ ਜਾਂ ਵੱਧ ਆਮਦਨ) ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁੱਤ ਸੋਚ ਕੇ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕਾਮੇ ਯਾਨੀ workers ਹੀ ਸਮਝੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਟੋ-ਘਟ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਲੱਭਣੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਅਕਸਰ ਬੈਸਮੈਂਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰੋ: ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਪੇਲੀਆ ਸਰੀ, ਕਨੇਡਾ

When i was in india was earning 70k since i came in canada i am 0. Look at my maths and let me know what i need to change 18$ per hour / 37.5 hours per week / net almost 2200(after deducting taxes). Rent 550$+230 Tiffin (indian sweet master) + car ( insu+emi) 900$ + phn bill + phn bill 100$ + beer party 100$/ month = 1880$. I should have 220$ remaining but I can’t found in my account 😂😂. It's your fault not Canadian system ...all Indian degree holders go through equivalency process where they have to pass certain exams to get certified to work here and then they start to make money depending on education and experience.. I was back home dentist and came as student here I was earning $10.50 per hour back in 2013...I passed all Canadian exams to be certified dentist and now I make $1000- $1500 a day or average $30000 per month ... Education pays of well in Canada but demands hard work and patience brother

Check out Manjit minhas, suneet singh tuli. Jagmeet singh and harjeet sajan r doing great in politics. However biggest wave of punjabi migration is happening now, you will see them in 20 yrs. I know two specialists from my class. I attended university here and a lot of punjabi kids are getting good grades and doing good jobs.
