No one should be stealing but Pastors should be getting a salary according to what the ministry can afford to be able to do and still function correctly. Did you know there is a prosperity gospel? How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace (Romans 10:9-17) Peace in Greek is “prosperity. “Prosperity means “wholeness in every area”. So if you are in sin, you can be righteous. If you are sick you can be healed. If you are poor, God will bless you. So there is a prosperity gospel. And ask yourself “is prosperity even in the Bible.”?

Now he said he is running his own business but are you using the Church money to operate your business did you use the Church building as collateral to start your business. The church pays me $700 bi-weekly, and I give $1,000 back to the church monthly. My point is that people always think preachers are getting rich off the church. A lot of the people in church don't know how to budget. But, they will get offended if you want to teach a class on budgeting. I never teach on tithing because they are grown ups, they know what they are supposed to do, but most of them don't know how to budget. Therefore, they can't tithe...IJS.

You can listen to a wolf or you can listen to Jesus. Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? You can listen to this false teacher or you can listen to Paul. But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Financial literacy and budgeting should be mandatory like church membership. Churches don't want to endure burial cost so why does the church not have a n insurance copy, grocery store etc to help church members learn business and provide for the needs of those less fortunate

On one hand you want churches to have grocery stores and insurance companies but on the other hand people don't want to tithe. It doesn't make sense.

@fredcollier8594Ай бұрын
@40.8Trading it's simple. Do you not think Yeshua could've had the best of the best and lived lavishly. He intentionally lived a humble lifestyle and requested that of his disciples. He told them to go out and spread the gospel and only take what's required for the days survival because God will provide. It's really a simple concept if people would get out of the preacher worship.
@40.8TradingАй бұрын
@@fredcollier8594 Lol You said that with so much conviction as though it was true… Listen i don’t get into debates about the Gospel. I love the Gospel truly! But if you are saying that that means that “ The bible is contradicting itself “ And the bible NEVER CONTRADICTS its self” if you are reading it and it does that means you have interpretations wrong. Yes the scripture is all the way True and Truth. But the context is so OFF because your looking at scripture in a singular point of view instead of the context of the scripture that’s what a lot of people do and they pull a single scripture to justify there agenda. The bible is Ful of wealth principle and Even Jesus gives us wealth principle. Now Luke 9:3 that you are referring to….. Jesus is teaching his disciples a lesson “ To Trust in God for THEIR MISSION “. Jospeh one of Jesus disciples is a Rich man. “ Just because your rich doesn’t mean that you don’t be obiedent. Just because God told them to go on a mission and don’t bring anything doesn’t mean they didn’t Own anything. God teaches his disciples and by the way “ You and i are disciples “ Not just pastors pastors job is to ( 1 Peter 5:2-3 Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.) If you can constantly say what the pastor should be doing. Maybe you should become one “ if led by God “. But this whole , A pastor and people of God is to be broke then there is an issue there.. Of course we are not to take advantage of people NO ONE IS TO! But instead is create the money, use the money to love people. God Bless

@40.8Trading brother you wrote all of that and didn't say a word. It's simple. As a Christian minister who's been called to live Christ like, they are supposed to try to be the example of Christ on Earth. So please miss me with all the mobo jumbo. Also the Bible contradicts itself all the time because it's a manmade book designed by several counsels for various reasons. Some good and some not so good. Regardless like you've done, you can use it like you see fit and I choose to use the letters in red specifically the golden rule and seeking God which is my best self to lead my ministry which is my family and students. Period

Well, let’s look at it from a HR perspective. Some of the preachers like TD Jakes don’t necessarily get a salary from the church they get their money from their production companies books, etc. If a church has a annual revenue room of $10 million and I pay the pastor 2% of 3% of that and at the same time those mega churches have a staff along with healthcare expenses and are employing people as well as giving money away it’s not just one person getting rich.

U can pay us musicians at least $200 a Sunday! Instead of $75 and some chips and a prayer! He got so mad cause people agreed with me and stopped playing around the town. (This was years ago) he banned me from the church and put a bad name on me in Nashville TN. But I’m playing r&b with a lot of big artist that pay more than $200 a Sunday lol but that is why we stopped playing for churches cause they wouldn’t pay us. We went to genres that would pay us lol.

Please get out of the comments section with ideas about the church that don’t add up to anything worth including in an adult conversation. Nobody who understands relationships, family, community, culture, legacy, continuity, etc would look at the church nor pastors as silly as some people do. There are a million reasons why some people have it and some don’t. Some people do steal and scam. And some people do the right thing with what they have and make it grow. Some people are blessed. Some have real faith and work it. Some act like they have faith and really don’t. There are dimensions and nuance to life. Just live your life. Love people. Get involved. Walk what you talk. And if you really care and are about it that’s great. If not, we’ll…..

I believe the Pastor answered the question asked of him, if a Pastor is a businessman, isn't it possible he can explain the business concept, if Jesus preach the Kingdom, he's not talking about about a village. Soul saving is only possible if a person believes with his/ her heart, confess with the mouth, the Lord Jesus then salvation is achieved. He wasn't asked about how people get saved or what it takes to get saved, when you have a church mentality, that's all you understand.
