Well actually since ranged is dan savely parry from almost any attack Made them insanely easy to use not like meele Character so teh plus is your Character can deal high dmg while also being save but the dmg arent that high compared to current meta meele like cs or dc​@@maybesparky

I keep seeing a pattern in ranged fighter cookies, because they're being outclassed by slash fighter cookies, like even a tagger ranged/magic deals MORE DAMAGE than them sadly, they seriously need to get a buff fast 😢 I still do hope they will add magic fighter/support cookie on the next update when episode 9 that onion/eggplant purple coloured cookie comes out :p✨

It makes me so sad, that this is the case. I saved everything for him and went all in for 5 star promotion, prefarmed everything to max him on day 1 as well :( How come a 5 star Lemon Zest gets outdmged by a 5 star Cream Soda in his own raid?! His skill will cancel itself right into cool down if you move to fast/get hit or ult too fast, you will also not get your discharge points if it happens. Why is his dmg is so low compared to other cookies? He is really low even compared to Rye (although ranged are an issue on their own sadly). I really hope Devsisters does something about it. He deserves to be strong as other cookies and obviouly to be able to dominate his own raid! ! I still find him the most fun cookie, he is still my favourite, I want him to be good.

Hope they buff all ranger fighters, even Durian. An AoE dps but basic attack can only mark 1 target at a time (except for enhanced attack)

Rye's reload isnt a gimmick its a way to balance her out, since shes meant to be a fast high single dps character so they gave her a reload, this isnt noticeable because shes not really good, they probably thought the 4* would be really good but it only makes her more a lot better to play cuz u can actually spam basic attacks now making up for her wait time between mid basic attacks, her kits issue isnt the reload i think its the fact that her mark only affects basic attacks until 5* because that removes a lot of damage potential or the fact that she doesnt deal much damage

It very much is a gimmick though, it’s used to control when she puts her mark on enemies and is A reason why she isn’t better. Since it’s unique to her, it very much would be a gimmick.

Her gimmick isn’t inherently a bad thing, it’s more so how they treat it. If they added a DMG buff for her Final Grain in the promotion I think it’d help her damage at least a bit. Not sure why they thought a reload was good enough for a promo buff when DCs 4 star promo essentially adds an extra 900% damage to his skill.

Slow attack speed but long ranged is definitely bad. Chili peppers has faster attack speed.

Rye is op cause i think ult counts as basic attacks unlike zest. So the critical damage bonus from passive and promotion are applied. That makes it better than dark choco and zest together xD

Rye's ultimate doesn't count as basic attacks, but one of her higher promos does make it so her special and ultimate can be used with her passive.

Same with sting durian, he was my first epic cookie (that wasnt guaranteed) he started off around the same strength as my dark choco but as i kept levelling both up sting durian just became less and less viable

Only thing for me is that I hate that ryes mark doesnt effect her other 2 abilities until the 5th star cause she does a lot of crit damage if built right it just takes forever ( not sure how it compares to the other cookies though )

quick correction: chili peppers 1 star only increase crit damage during “spice it up” which I believe is her ultimate

Totally agree with you on the lemon zest promotion stats. Having a 20% light damage barely makes a difference when you have the full light armor set with light hidden power scrolls activated. I wish they change the 4star to 20% faster charge bar fill and the 5star be 50% to gain the enhanced basic atk. Is there a way we can send feedbacks or suggestion or do we tag mic mac directly about it for the changes?

I kinda disagree with some of the points on Rye Cookie. But talking about Lemon Zest, no promotion discharge is the worst attack in the game.

A little disheartening note: Rye's crit damage increase from her 2* promotion is actually worse than it's described. It says "Crit Damage Increase +100%," making you think it's now +140% crit dmg against marked enemies. However, this isn't the case; the +100% increase is doubling the Bounty Hunter's Mark's +40% crit damage bonus, so you actually only get +80% crit damage in the end, not 140%. Feel free to test it like I did! I find Happy Flower's Hard Mode the easiest place to do so.

Tbh Devsis flops a lot in making Range cookie, there's almost no reason to use them at all considering Fighters are much more durable + deals more damage

Wouldn't their advantage is the range in order to not get hit? At least it's helped me in some "don't get hit X times" missions. But I do get the crippling disadvantage of the low damage multipliers for multi-hits when ones like Dark Choco's 4* promotion is right there. A simple increase to the damage multipliers would be enough imo, at least on Rye.

I thought lemon zests promotions seemed pretty ass and very circumstantial. I thought it was just me coping at first, but as much as I wanted to like them and using all my materials to 5 star on them It just wasn't worth it yet...

The easiest fix would be to add discharge piercing to his first promo. This would at least make him better in Hangster hideout and Infinite Lab.

His kit just doesn’t synergize well. His passive does AoE damage, but relies on you targeting a single enemy. This alone limits his potential in modes like Hangster Hideout. But because the AoE portion is useless against fewer amounts of enemies, he doesn’t find use in Raid. The only saving grace is that in modes like Infinite Lab, because there’s a finite amount of enemies in groups, he actually gets use out of special and ultimate.

@@maybesparky I mean, making it so It does a slight venerable effect could be nice. Making the target take like 10% more damage or something when the mark is applied could improve her damage and give her a sup role too in raids if wanted to make it so it applies to all damage done to the target.
