For some small venues I use the Fender Pro Jr. (15 watts, 1 vol, 1 tone, 10" speaker). It also does duty as my "recording amp".

My two favorites amps! I own the Bassbreaker 007 head with the 1x12 cab and it comes first for me but the Blues Junior would be my second choice for sure! Simplicity, portable, cheap, they sound amazing and you can play them everywhere. Bassbreaker 007 = Classic Marshall amp and the Blues Junior = Classic Fender amp. The Bassbreakers 15 offers even more Gain stages.

For over twenty years now I've been playing through the same Blues Jr. Only repair work it ever needed was a resolder on the tube sockets. Otherwise, I've done a few BillM mods on it, swapped around a few of the preamp tubes, but have changed the EL84s only once. I like it. It's fun.

One of my favorite sounds is an old fender champ on 10. Really any little amp cranked like that sounds awesome but the champ was my first "amp exploding tone" experience.
