In the UK it will have a big effect on teachers. We have something employers use called a DBS check that has several levels, most companies will check for a criminal record, but schools and other government departments will go deeper. At those deeper levels, they will find these none crimes recorded and its likely to cause problems with getting jobs for people. Also anyone that doesn't like their child teacher can cause serious damage to their careers very easily

LAW ENFORCEMENT: For most of human history, there were no POLICE to enforce the law, because, until relatively recently, most humans resided in clans and/or tribes, in which every member of the social group knew each other far more intimately than do modern urbanites, and since the agricultural revolution, residing in farming communities or in small hamlets or towns in rural areas, where crime was less endemic, and also because ancient societies were self-policing. If a child committed a crime, rather than being carted-off to Juvenile Court by a member of the local police department, his or her mother would administer any necessary punishment. If the mother had broken the law, then the master of the house would discipline her. If the husband was to commit an offensive act, his father or employer would take punitive measures, and so on, all the way up to the head of that society (normally the chief priest or the king). Of course, this paradigm rests on the assumption that each discrete member of society enforced the law on an individual basis, and we can know for certain that they did so, to a very large extent, otherwise their populations would have perished, or at least have disintegrated to such an extent that their communities were plagued with serious problems. Just see how much wasteful infrastructure modern societies require, in order to perform the duties previously performed by all its collective citizenry! A massive police force would be practically superfluous in even a DECENT monarchy, what to mention under a holy and righteous king. When a nation (even a very populous one, such as has been the case in the past couple of centuries) is established on virtuous principles (“dharma”, in Sanskrit), the requirement of even a small police force would be highly-questionable, because it would be ensured that every single citizen receives proper training in dharma. It is far preferable that individuals adhere to the law voluntarily, rather than by brute force, wouldn’t you, the reader, agree? This explains the reason why modern bureaucracies tend to expend inordinate amounts of resources in order to keep watch over their own citizens. Due to their criminal nature, such illegitimate governments are unable to promulgate holy and righteous living, and so, are compelled to literally spy on their own people in order to minimize public unrest, whereas a true monarch will facilitate genuine spiritual teachers (brāhmaṇa) to spread dharma among the masses, beginning with their own seminarians/disciples, who in turn, will teach the head of the households of their communities, who in turn, will teach dharma to the individual members of their (extended) families. Many, if not MOST crimes, particularly acts of unmitigated violence, have their seed in poor child-rearing practices, especially highly-traumatic incidents such as neglect, physical mistreatment (that is, undue bodily harm beyond legitimate corporal punishment), and psychological abuse. In order to treat such unfortunate mental health outcomes, this author recommends regular psychotherapy, combined with yoga/meditation. Of course, this does not include that percentage of humanity who are afflicted with obvious psychological abnormalities, such as psychopathy. When the leaders of society (that is, genuine kings and genuine priests) ensure that dharma is promoted in their nation, such odious crimes will naturally be minimized. At present, human society is rapidly heading towards destruction, due to the lack of proper adherence to dharma.

The joys of weak, immature, resentful people who seek to control others out of spite for whatever personal issues they don't have the maturity to deal with. This is never about solving the problem when the reaction to opposition is hostility, it's just about what's required to make such people feel better about themselves. Such people should not be allowed anywhere near positions of power, yet they seek positions of power to compensate for being weak. Exhausting.

There is no law against hate. It is not illegal to be a bigot, a homophobe, a racist, a mysandrist or misogynist or to be religiously indictrinated. Crimes are _actions_ not opinions, not speech, not thought. The police are neglecting their duty to uphold the law if they are _ever_ involved in hate speech or butt hurt victim wannabes. Written hate speech may have consequences where it defames specific individuals, but it can never be illegal where the author is simply airing their opinions about categories or groups of people.

I feel like it’s way too late for us to be asking these obvious questions. The time for questioning their policies, actions, ideologies is over. Long passed in fact. It’s time for something else, but bc everyone is such a coward and living in such deep denial, they likely have no idea what I could possibly mean.

The most worrisome part is that the police is keeping a borderline illegal activity going, despite being told not to do so by both elected representatives of the public and, well, sheer common sense. Oh, and also that they are basically ignoring any other crime that does not reach the front page of a newspaper and so will put the consistent slack of a growing number of them in the spotlight: right now in London, they seem to ignore almost everything short of a murder to focus on this garbage.

We have seen where this leads. Policing thoughts and speech is what happened in Stalinist Russia only last century, sending hundreds of thousands to the Gulag. This would get even worse under Starmer and his left wing loons. Time to vote Reform UK.

Glad Abu Hamsa lost his no confidence vote. But it makes no difference who replaces him. The crazy SNP will continue to drag Scotland down the Stasi-style identitarian, authoritarian rabbit hole. The only hope for Scotland is for the Scottish people to remove the SNP at the GE later this year🤞

Does law enforcement have the legal right to arbitrarily add any statement to a citizen’s record if there isn’t a crime or interaction with law enforcement? Seems like there is a global trend away from community policing (on and offline) into more of a centralized intelligence approach.

Two reasons; It is low hanging fruit. A citizen is less aware of police tactics than a criminal, will confess their "crime". "Crime" solved, looks good on end-of-year report Easier to silence people who are political trouble makers
