For me, it was enough when I saw that no shortcomings of the Shah or U.S. policies were mentioned, and the entire revolution was framed as a communist conspiracy against a flawless king. This narrative not only oversimplifies history but also dismisses the complexities and genuine grievances that fueled the revolution. While the Shah implemented significant reforms, such as the White Revolution, his regime had well-documented flaws: authoritarian rule, widespread corruption, and the brutal suppression of dissent through SAVAK. These policies alienated many Iranians, creating fertile ground for opposition. Moreover, U.S. involvement, particularly its role in the 1953 coup against Mossadegh and its support for the Shah, undermined Iran’s sovereignty and stoked resentment. Framing the revolution solely as a conspiracy disregards the voices of millions who sought political and social change. History is rarely so black and white, and reducing the Iranian Revolution to a simplistic tale of villains and victims risks obscuring its true complexity.

"I turly think Trump is a risk to democracy." - Coming from the side that actually acted like authoritarians when they were in power. This person clearly hasn't learned anything, and still wants to blame the cult of personality of Trump. The Democrats revealed themselves to be the exact thing they claimed to be against. They promoted a fascist censorship of any voice that disagreed with their ideology, which they tried to force people to believe in. The political left in America is currently corrupted and lost. How many people have claimed they are going to leave the country, or have disowned family members, all because their side lost an election? They act like spoiled children and show no signs of critical thinking, humility, or basic common sense.

When Rodney King was arrested, he was actually under the influence of PCP (Angel Dust), which gives users superhuman strength. So that is why King had to be beaten with batons, because of the PCP. To test for PCP there were two tests, the unreliable blood test (false negatives) and the super reliable hair test. The blood test gives immediate results, while the hair test takes a few days. Only the inaccurate blood test was given, but the reliable hair test was never administered, because the exculpatory results would have been politically incorrect. Subsequently, Rodney King spent quite a bit of time in jail because of his numerous drug and alcohol arrests. He was actually held in the LA County Jail on the same floor as Eric Menendez and OJ Simpson. Eventually Rodney King drowned in his swimming pool in 2012. The autopsy showed that he had both PCP and alcohol in his system. For an excellent history of the Rodney King case one should read Sgt. Stacey Koons autobiography Presumed Guilty.

On all those fake racism media hit pieces the perps (the writers and commentators) need to be held accountable for starting public disruptions. The BLM riots could have easily been avoided but race hustlers live each day to uncover perceived racism.

Whatever happened to the FBI “investigation” of the alleged wave of racist text messages after Trump’s election that mysteriously targeted thousands of Black students. The media and FBI has had no comment … suggesting they found that to be a hoax too.

Wilfred's takes are usually accurate, but he and Bari Weiss are both wrong about the Amy Cooper case. She was in the Ramble, a popular area for bird watching with small winding paths, where it's against the rules to have pets off leash. The park is huge, she could have found an appropriate run. When Christian Cooper rightfully informed her of the rules- yes, New Yorkers are touchy about Central Park- she could have just said "ok, my mistake" and moved on. He had no interest in taking her dog but did prove that if your dog is off leash, it can be lured away. Angry, she then called the police and screamed bloody murder that an "African American man was assaulting/ threatening her and her dog" in the park- all while standing right in front of Christian Cooper, making no effort to get away and strangling her terrified dog. It was a stupid. She lied to make the police believe that a bird watcher was a murderer at work instead of just putting her dog on a leash.

It seems to me that the reason some speech has been culled on social media has been because of the very real violence that it's lead to. The whole 'trans' debate is, to me, as ridiculous as arguing about Autistic treatment when you know nothing about it. Why do you have an opinion on trans people when you don't have an opinion on the treatment of intersex people, or any other tiny group that you are utterly uninformed about? For some reason, gender affirming care has come under the spotlight when 99% of people will never meet a trans person, never mind have to worry about this? Other people's health is none of your business. Let the parents worry about it. The medically informed parents, who speak with medical professionals, and listen to science. Instead, we have people debating things they don't understand, in the same vein as debating vaccinations. Usually people's opinions are uninformed, they even argue with the people RECEIVING the care, who say they need it. And the only reasons I can see for this, are conservative society's deep held terror of gender non-conformance - women refusing to be women, men refusing to be men, people refusing to behave in these prescriptive ways that allow them to be controlled, usually in order to reinforce a patriarchal society. Being trans puts you outside of that social control. And the bots and social media channels aiming all the projectiles at this one, tiny target. So you have this tiny, infinitesimally tiny number of people who are constantly having their very existence, and their medically necessary care debated, by people who will never meet them, certainly never speak to them or want to understand them, and who hate that they even exist. It shouldn't BE a public debate. If you need surgery, do I set up a Facebook group to prevent you from getting it because I don't think you need it? I don't think you need surgery, I don't think you're even sick? Why would that be any of my business? The entire world needs to look UP. LOOK UP. Look up at the oligarchs taking everything from us, look up at the narcissists leading us, purporting to share our politics, but only serving themselves. Donald Trump as an example, isn't even conservative. He's hateful. He used to be pro-abortion. He spouts whatever nonsense is needed to gain power. We MUST look up.
