Why Are There Cats in Disneyland?

Hi Ariel! I hope you are doing well! I really like your channel! I found it a few weeks ago and I’m working my way through the videos. I remember and still love one Saturday morning! My favorite two shows in the lineup were teachers, pet, and House of Mouse! I also really enjoyed recess! I love this particular video because I am a cat mom myself! I have a 13-year-old domestic shorthair cat named Raja, who I love to pieces! He still loves to play and is very talkative. And yes, I named him after Jasmine‘s tiger. My two favorite Disney renaissance films are The Little mermaid and Aladdin! I also love Mulan, Pocahontas, and the hunchback of Notre Dame as well. Keep up the amazing work! I will definitely continue to watch your videos. I also love, hocus-pocus and Halloween town! I love the story of walt finding all those kitties in sleeping beauty castle, and they all get adopted.

You know with the Disneyland cats it really should encourage Disney to make more movies about cats. Or even better maybe someone could make a book series based on the Disneyland cats. I mean with them becoming more publicly acknowledged it would be fun to capitalize on them.

Agreed! We haven't seen a Disney movie with a cat character in YEARS. I think the last one was Bolt (which no one remembers), and before that it was Oliver and Company. I also LOVE the book series idea - would read that in a heartbeat!! 💕

I'm right there with you, Jas! I would so listen to those books if someone wrote them and made them available in audio! Audio books are what I gravitate towards since I'm blind. A novel series about the Disneyland cats would be pawesome! I have a 13-year-old domestic short hair cat named Rajah who I love to pieces! He's blessed my life since April of 2012 back when he was six and a half months old.

Disneyland's Cats are not actually feral Cats since the Cats belong to Disneyland. Disneyland takes care of them and gives them names.

For one your very attractive...There are cats at MK too.I beleive they are from the people who live in the neighborhoods located about a mile in back of the park itself
