I purchased a set of 2” Bora wheel spacers, witch said would fit my 1026r with a 60” deck. They fit BUT upon turning sharp they hit the deck. Also I found it interesting that the instructions stated to have a dealer install them. Any input on correcting the issue of hitting the deck, the deck it is less than a 1” from the back tires.
@GoodWorksTractors3 жыл бұрын
I'd suggest talking to BORA or whomever made the suggestion. I'm not sure what size spacers fit with mower decks. Many manuals have a boilerplate statement in them to have a dealer install or handle work. That is common language.

The quick hitch bushings are steel not brass. The copper colored ones are Cadmium-plated steel. I have also used pipe from the local steel supplier to make my own bushings. I want to say 3/4 for the upper and 1 inch water pipe for the lowers. on equipment that uses a slide out lower pin captured on both sides the bushings are about $4 each at tractor supply. Many time those can be used on the fixed pin style as well as the other side will keep the attachment from sliding over.

All I have for my subcompact is the quick attach, and a box blade. Would like a snow blower and a front weight kit. Does not have enough front weight to get the most out of the box blade. Will lift the front well before it runs out of pull.
@CentralNH3 жыл бұрын
Quick attach offsets your box blade. If you attach directly to your tractor you will get wayyyy more out of your box blade. Quick attach moves your box blade over 4" back so your rear tires are now closer to the pivot point. Quick attach is not recommended for heavier rear attachments unless you add 100# plus to front end.

Frustrating that I have a JD quick hitch and have to get the bushings. One of these days, I'll get the speeco brand...
@DustMite19373 жыл бұрын
Don't buy expensive bushings! Go to your favorite tractor supplies store and by class changer bushings. A class1 to class 2 bushing will fit inside a class 2 to class 3 bushing which will give you a class 1 to class 3 bushing for a tenth of what those sold by the quick hitch guys. Be sure to get 2 sets for lower arm and one set for upper arm, or whatever your supplier calls them. A full set will probably give you change back for a $20 bill. I told my Kubota dealer that I was doing that, and he kind of mumbled "yeah, that works fine".
@fyrman90923 жыл бұрын
@@DustMite1937 I figured that out later, too. Speeco eliminates that...

I don’t what you’re talking about with depreciation. I was looking at 20 year old NH TN75D 4x4 cab tractors w loaders, average hours 4000 and priced in the mid 30’s. A new NH 75hp 4x4 cab tractor with loader is mid 40’s same with TYM, RK, and few others except JD, Kubota, MF being the most $$$ but all seem to keep resale values. 10grand after 20 years and 4000 hours, not to shabby but if you’re talking about those wanna be tractors, those compact oversized lawnmowers, then you prob have a point.
