That's a great philosophy if all you need in life is fish. Who pays for his family's home, clothing, shoes, medical care? Who will do the fishing when he's no longer physically able to?

I love the message but I feel the conclusion is misguided. I agree, don’t chase money when you could make enough to spend time with your family. But the point of the businessman in the story is security, what happens when you don’t catch any fish? What happens when you CAN’T fish?

Businesses fall too and people end up with debts that they cannot ever pay. If you can't fish you can do what tribes do every 4 years in Amazon forest - they burn whole village down (due to worms) and start everything again at another place.

You live in a nation where housing is 40-50 percent your monthly income. There are plenty of smaller "poorer" countries that have a higher standard of living for cheaper. Know that.
