this was a lot closer series than i think any of us really thought it would be. and im sure im huffing copium but both TL and flyquest have definitely shown at points this year that they CAN compete against world calibre teams. they just need more consistency. i REALLY think that dom would do well as a coaching analyst for one of these teams if they keep these rosters for the americas region next year. they have so much potential. massu is legit and while he's still getting caught sometimes, busio has improved quite a lot from last year.

Idk man, i guess it was nice seeing NA put up some sort of fight after being down every game and coming back because usually they'd just roll over passively and die... I agree, that West should have a few off-meta picks, just for such occasions. The reason why G2 won MSI few years ago, and was actually one of the best teams was their ability to play off-meta, and take advantage of it. Back than it was Pyke Mid/Top that dominated for them.

Vi is just a really easy champ to counter… at least at pro level. It’s why you barely see pantheon as well. They’re fine in solo queue but for the love of god FLY looks best when they have Inspired on a tank/supportive jungler or ap jungler.

they're not bad. they really have hands, and some good creativity to them. like...a serious team, no jokes. g2 ain't a joke either...they just always lose in a silly way repeatedly, if they got better at certain aspects of the game with everything else equal, they'd be real nice

I don't understand why we didn't pick Nunu again in game 3. Nunu is good with ad solo lanners because of his passive and we already picked Kaisa that does magic damage. I really thought that the Kaisa first pick was to set up the Nunu pick but then we locked Vi into Xayah. -_-

We didn't lock vi into xayah, we chose vi first, then they locked xayah 46:38

@@TSSPDarkStar You are right but I think locking a champ with it's known hard counter still open is essentially locking into it. Like there's no other adc you could pick there with the potential Vi+Ori combo open for Fly
