Why are you using a thick paper to perform a Printhead Alignment?

Thanks Jose. How often should this be done?.... I did it a year ago and still looks perfect but suspect that with wear it might be a good idea to do this occasionally. I print daily and PRO 1000 printer still going strong after a year and a half.

The "Epson America Users Guide" states... Alignment varies depending on the loaded media. Align the print head using the media on which you want to print and select the correct paper type as the setting.

well....yes and no. It only applies to the basic CANON Media types that are available in the printer's screen. TRUST ME!!!! You do not have to a head alignment on three sheets of $5 a piece paper simply because you are eventually going to print on it. I proved it in this very video. I do the alignment procedure simply on cheap GLOSSY paper costing about 50 cents a sheet. But you can do it as you please. The person I was referring to in the video was printing on 300GMS fine art Baryta paper for Hahnemuhle which does NOT exist in the PRO-1000 Head alignment screen!

Hello, I have a canon MX922. I have tried everything from cleaning the printhead, resetting the printer, adding new ink, even putting paper in the upper paper holder. What is the deal with these? I see this was a problem way back in 2017. What will solve the issue? Its grabbing the paper, acts like its printing, sounds like its printing and the page comes out white.....
