The first real photo printer I had was the canon BJC-6000. It had two locations for print heads but came with three print heads. One head had YMC inks thar was permanently installed the other two have to be exchanged with each other. One had pigment black ink installed the other had LM, LC and photo black inks installed.

Nice video 👍 Q the 8550 has dye ink and 1000 pigment ink, any thoughts?

I could write a book. DYES are transparent and produce more brilliant results. Pigments are opaque and produce slightly duller results. Pigment prints last many times longer than those done with DYE.
