Why aren't MR packs ultra-light?

先週クーリー40にて冬山装備をパッキングしての実戦テスト❣️ 結果は想像以上のバックの出来映えに大満足でした。 担ぐ前と背負った後の軽いと感じるのが不思議 凄い 相棒が出来 感謝してます。

I packed into the mountains many times. What bugged me most was using a pack too small for my needs...i could get it all in at start but it was a bitch. I prefer a larger pack, heavier built, that I can pack the extra food and sleeping bag in more relaxed way, easy in and out. Compression used straps as food eaten. Fact is, these get thrown around and you need durability. These packs are a Bingo.

I’ve looked at your military packs, and they’re not that heavy. The pack the Norwegian SF operators are using at the moment (125 liter external frame pack, with side pouches), weighs a tad more than 10 pounds. My next backpack will probably be a Mystery Ranch pack 👍🏻👍🏻🇳🇴
