Don’t feel rushed or pressured to give us the content you used to, pre baby! You have a baby now and that will always be #1! As for travelling internationally with a baby, we just got back from a trip to Ireland (from Ontario) with our almost 9 month old son. It is definitely different and not as easy as travelling before having a baby, but it was so much better than I thought it would be! Mind you, we brought my parents along, who are the only ones that watch our son other than us. That made things easier and so fun for him to also have his grandparents with him! Whenever you do decide to go on a bigger trip with your little guy, it’ll be amazing! The memories you’ll make and the things he’ll experience will be so worth it! ❤️

that's so refreshing to hear, and great idea about bringing the grandparents!! Will have to think of that as an option :)

I will continue watching your content even if it’s inconsistent and more baby related than travel. People change, they grow and their interest and lifestyles grow with them. I appreciate the realness and a lot of us that have been watching you for a while our lives have also taken a shift to a more settled stage. Not that we don’t like adventure anymore but it’s not driving our lives anymore. I love your energy and personality and that’s really why I follow and watch your content. Love seeing you grow with the stages of your life.

I am sure that you will figure out how to get a 3rd person who is little to camp along with you with Clifford. And then a 4th will be a piece of cake! 🤔🤞🌞 Good luck and great travels to you.

Hi, Have you tried sleep training Elliot? My daughter is a month or so younger than your son, and sleep has been challenging until we sleep trained. We did more “gentle” approach with babysleepmadesimple program. They have been great!

Loved your videos! I love how much you loved traveling too, you must be so used to packing stuff already from your past travels. But wanted to share how traveling was made easier and convenient for me thru a Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. Just thought of sharing!

I would love to see family style vlogs on your channel. Look at the channel Tylertravelstv he is a travel KZbinr too but now with kids he does more vlogs and it’s pretty cool.

I definitely relate with the sleep struggle. All my kids have been like that. I’m still up in the night with my 1 1/2 year old. And it takes a whole books, songs, back scratching routine to get my 3 year old asleep at night. 😂 I love all your videos, no matter the subject. Your personality and voice always refresh me. ❤️

You don’t need to apologise or explain to us why your content isn’t the same as pre-baby Nadine! ❤ I’m sure the vast majority of us understand! Also, I can totally relate about the sleep - my daughter always took roughly 1.5 hours to put to sleep for every nap or bedtime, and woke multiple times during the night. Good news though - she progressively slept more and more, and even just started sleeping through the night in the last few months (she’s 2.5yo). It gets so much easier over time ❤ Please take your time and enjoy your beautiful little boy. Trust me, I’m so excited to see your travel videos as a family once you’re ready to make them, but I’m more excited for you to enjoy Elliot’s infanthood in the way you dream of. And I completely understand how daunting it is to think about travelling with a baby! We’re about to do our first international trip with my girl (UK>AUS to finally introduce her to my family) and I’m SO nervous 🙈 x

I love you and you are the reason I decided to start solo travelling about four years ago. You’re my inspiration and you’ll always be♥️ You started your family and you have to take care of it, no rush we support you ♥️ Your old videos are enough information for me to continue my travels and I’ll still be here to support you on your upcoming travels in the future ♥️

I've been subscribed since before you went anywhere. I don't think you even knew how hungry you were to see new places until you got your first taste. Now you've done and seen so much maybe you have set yourself some high standards for travel content, but you are on a whole different journey now and I'm still excited to travel along with you - though I've already been there and my children are grown now. Remember that while you have seen and done so much, for Elliot absolutely everything is new. One of the many blessings of children is that they let us oldies rediscover familiar things all over again.

I always love to see KZbinrs/influencers who unapologetically set boundaries with their content output. There's no rush to book more trips, there's so many other travel-related videos ideas out there in the meantime (e.g. geography trivia challenge, interviewing other KZbinrs, travel industry video essays, etc.) I loved your Germany baking vid too!

That all sounds exciting! No worries about rushing back into things. Sometimes it can be good to take baby steps (no pun intended) to get back into the swing of things. I'm really curious to hear about this upcoming project assuming everything takes place!

We just did our first five day camping trip with our 10mo old in our Westy! It’s hard work, but definitely worth it. Let me know if you want a quick run down on what we found worked well. Sleeping and room for her to move/get energy out were our two biggest things to work through. It was so fun, just looked a little different than the pre-baby days. You got this!

Hey Nadine! I don’t know if you’d be interested but I had the same problem with the weather when camping with my little one. I found Morrison outdoors, they make a safe sleep sack that is good down to -7 Celsius. They also have one for a warmer temperature range as well. They are quite spendy but you can pick one up second hand from rerouted sometimes. We camped in South Dakota in the fall, the night temps dipped down to 35 degrees F. It was so cozy and kept my then 5 month old perfectly snuggly warm. Thought it might help. 🙃

My unsolicited advice around sleep: my middle child we did a sleeping program, which worked pretty much instantly; my youngest child Co-slept with me as a baby, which regulated his sleeping hours to night time sleeping rather than day time sleeping… when he was asleep I then lifted him into his cot near the bed. Good luck!!

I feel you! Becoming a mom is such a transformation and re setting realistic expectations is hard. My son wasn’t a good sleeper either. I would feel like a failure when I heard other moms brag how theirs would sleep through the night. It does get better though!! Now I’m currently navigating being a working mom. I always wanted to be a workingmom but I’m not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. People expect me to put the same amount of time and commitment to work as my single childless peers, but as you said, my child takes up my time and part of my brain throughout the day. Give yourself grace. Hopefully your next project goes through!!

exactly! I feel this 100%, just trying to balance everything! I hope it starts to get better for you, or at least find out where you'd rather spend your time. I guess it's always going to be a balancing act, but when they are babies, they just grow up sooo fast!
