Lets hope that Trump is able to do the same for the United States. Hopefully Poilievre will follow suit in Canada when Canadians finally get a federal election and vote him into power! Wonder if the success Argentina will help with the illegal immigration issue and reduce numbers at the southern border?

you need to vote him in, then. look for a newcomer with no career in politics, age over 40 (so they had time to experience normal life in the private sector), and maybe with libertarian ideas, but certainly NOT pro-centralization (communism).

thank you so much for this video!! nowhere in the press have i seen any reporting about the spectacular transformation in argentina. granted, i didn't search for it or look it up. however, in a world where the talking heads were calling milei a fascist dictator and forecasting a dismal future should he implement his proposed strategies, i find it shocking that the end result - SUCCESS - is being hidden and/or covered up. if not for your video, i would not have know of this brilliant success. so thank you, once again!!

@ no. Ending the dependency of people capable of working and requiring them to be productive is a good thing. It also can restore the natural feedback loops in society. People who are failing should get clear feedback on how to change, rather than being protected from feedback. If someone sucks, they need to learn not to suck. Just like EVERYONE ELSE had to. That HELPS people.
@albeit1
@albeit1 11 сағат бұрын
If you understand what antifragility is, you know that being protected from consequences is not a good thing. Consequences are how we learn. But people want to wait until someone is 25 and their brain is done forming. AFTER our abilities to learn are started to fade.

@@Progamermove_2003 i dont believe Millei is a career politician, he was an economist and author and didn't enter politics until 2020/2021 when he helped form a political party. By the time he got elected, he had only really been in politics for a few years. Regardless, i didn't really have any expectations for him, im just here to correct what i think is misleading misnofrmation. Argentina is a nice place, I had a good time there while on vacation but it isn't some liberatarian right wing paradise, like 20% of its people are in poverty or something, I saw homeless people and drug addicts everywhere, it was like los angeles or san francisco. As I mentioned earlier, it takes years to undo such rot and corruption

@HiHello-dj8if
@HiHello-dj8if 4 сағат бұрын
It depends on whether it is 50% of likely voters or 50% of the People. If it is 50% of the People, then that would be huge. For example, to get support from a majority of people in an election having 65% turnout, the candidate would need nearly 77% of the votes.

A U.S. survey said: It takes all the taxes paid by 5 people in private employment to fund the salary and benefits of 1 government employee. Cutting out half the government agencies had a huge effect on spending by government. Hope Trump does the same here. I have the same amount of sympathy for them losing their jobs as they did for the millions of manufacturing jobs their bosses let go to China.
