In Latin-America happens the same, almost 200 years after independence, the "colony" is still to blame for any problem.

Thats true, but for many years nobody really wanted to do business with haiti because they were black. Lets not forget the impact of racism. A black country in a see of white countries/colonies. So they were basically isolated. Also people should ask themselves how do gangs acquire so much gun and ammunition. Haiti surely aren't manufacturing it. Also all the monetary aid provided to haiti always end up in the pockets of corrupt politicians. A LOT of corruption and illegal things are going in behind the scenes, but history also played a role. However, I agree that today the blame should fall more on corrupt politicians that allowed this to occur in the first place.

Thank you for the clear and concise explanation. For as long as I can remember, there's has always been a problem with terrorism in the middle east. Even in Israel part of what became the establishment we're classed as terrorists at one stage.

Jaykee the Wolf: wonders to behold! all this mess over 140 square miles or a 12 mile x 12 mile piece of land?? Truth be told, middle east nations are not taking in refugees because once israel is done squatting on yet, more palestinian lands obtained from this little war, israel WILL NOT give back said land. Luis: also, by not allowing pales in, this is to force israel to back the fcuk up and leave the gaza strip, else more palestinan lives will be lost at the present rate of 35 dead arabs for every jew that is killed. Jaykee the Wolf: true. israel does have a murderous habit of taking over other folks land.

Thank you. I've heard from others that surrounding nations won't have a bar of Palestinian refugee's, but this excellent 4 minutes spells it out clearly. As others have said, should be compulsory viewing.

Yeah you clearly ignored Israel's ongoing efforts to kill Palestinians. How they killed Protestors, leading to more radical actions, how the arab nations still did not do much after all the protests and how the arab nations were lied to by the british and they were GOING TO GET LAND FOR PALESTINE BUT THE STATE OF ISRAEL STOPPED THAT FROM HAPPENING LEADIN TO UNREST

Plot twist: it was France’s fault. Every place that has lived mass slavery suffers from it centuries later. Look at all the ghettos in the US, now imagine a whole country whose citizens were all slaves, and not just a percentage.

The US will never solve the 2nd Amendment question. The question the US needs to ask now is "Is the right to bear arms against a potential enemy (who is, in modern times, highly unlikely to ever invade the US) worth the loss of life that mass gun ownership entails? If the answer is "yes" then the matter is closed. If the enemy is perceived to be the Government itself, then that's a whole other question that needs to be asked. Something along the lines of "Can the Government be trusted to protect my rights and liberty, or do I need to arm myself in order to remind it that if the Government can't defend them, then I will?"

The french reparations were light on paper : equivalent to one year of estimated profits (before the resolution) for the sugar industry, and were signed 20 years after the revolution. Had Haiti put its main industry at least partially back on track, it should have been dealt with within a few years. Compare with cotton production in the USA. It utterly collapsed in the 1860s due to events, and 5 years after it was done, it had bounced back over antebellum levels. Despite very similar conditions (a plantation-based industry that saw both war and slaves being freed). Haiti failed in 20+ years even a fraction of what the Southern USA did completely in 5. It's a sign that ever since the start, Haiti has been utterly unable of managing its economy.

What about not wanting to facilitate Israel’s Zionist ambitions to completely expel Palestinians from Gaza ? As we all know, that once they leave their own land, it’s very unlikely they will be able to go back - exactly what Isreal is trying to achieve of course.

This video, leaves out a lot of details and context I would encourage everyone who watches to do their own research and come back and see if everything in thing in this video is factual. Comparing Haiti’s debt to Germany or Frances is not the same. Also, he doesn’t describe how Haitians were treated by the French compared to the Dominicans and the Spaniards. The crisis in Haiti isn’t as simple as people make it seem to be just like the rest of the world things require context to fully understand

In 1788 boatloads of people in chains were sent to a far away land to begin a life sentence thousands of miles away from their relatives and loved ones, forbidden under pain of death from ever returning to their homelands... by 1918 their ancestors were forced to work and slave to pay for debts for a war they never asked for, ditto again in 1945. These debts were paid off over SEVENTY FIVE years!! Fast forward and Australia is one of the 15 biggest economies in the world.. so what is Haiti's excuse?
