Batman in suicide squad makes no sense Rocksteady's biggest mistake was setting suicide squad kill the justice league in the Arkhamverse or in the same universe as the batman arkham games.

The game is bad because the writers had no clue what they were doing. I'm fine with Rocksteady closing it's doors for good at this point. They've fallen that far.

There's only one thing I'll argue with in this video and that's Ivy coming back from the dead as someone who's favourite Comic Book character of all time is Poison Ivy, she came back because that's one of her "Powers" She's effectively immortal because she just grows back and it was even teased in arkham knight with one of the riddles if you go back to where she died the solution is a single flower growing next to her jacket "A natural cure for scarecrows doom, your savior's gone but still in bloom"

a cool detail in SSKTJ is that just before Batman is pulling the trigger, you can see him physically trying to resist using the gun due to his entire arm shaking, I did say "uh its just cause of the gun firing" but its shaking even before he pulls the trigger

I feel like the writers didn't research the previous games at all when writing batman. His personality in this is closer to the riddler. If I were to rewrite it, I would make batman not be a part of the justice league yet. And he acts as this games version of oracle. Because he isn't in the justice league yet, he's not there for braniacs initial attack. You can have Martian man hunter take his place as a captured hero. Later in the game, he gets captured and that leads to the museum/predator batman sequence. During this he tries to kill Harley who ends up reminding him that he isn't a killer and allows him to break at least some of the control. Then, at the end, he understands that despite him feeling the need to do it all alone like at the end of knight, he decides the world can use his help so he joins the justice league

Considering Harley is almost a completely different character compared to the previous games as well, it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.

What I noticed about Arkham Knight is if you’re in Ace Chemicals while preparing the control agent. You can see scarecrows old mask on the ground.

My biggest gripe with the suicide squad game is how it completely throws out the entire narrative of Arkham knight. The Batman is no more he’s retiring, he literally leaves it to his 3 robins to defend Gotham&activated the knight fall protocol when he knew it was over. But hey fuck it rocksteady wanted money so they had to bring him back I guess🤷🏾‍♂️😭

He never retired. The dialogue in the Robin and catwoman dlc pointed towards him still being alive by saying their friends are dissappearing to batman's ghost. "Gotham needs something worse a new myth a legend bigger than the batman a legend I cannot be right now" batman to catwoman. In a reddit AmA Sefton Hill did also confirms that he became a more "badass" batman without Bruce Wayne restricting him. The AmA was in 2016 or 2017.

Batman wouldn't have given up so easily so it's clearly a clone, i got the game Tuesday and just finished it Wednesday and even i knew that those were clones of the JL. In my honest opinion I had fun with the game for a time before it was dead to me there are a bunch of missing factors to this game one of them is the mine controlled Justice League a KZbinr stated “we don’t know how the mind control process work” and yeah we actually don’t know how the process worked and how they were mind controlled 2 is the clone theory as many KZbinrs states that the Justice League we kill aren’t the actual Justice League and there are plenty of hints to this theory for example flash his thumb gets cut off and when we meet him again he has all 10 fingers and keep in mind flash doesn’t have a healing factor like Deadpool or Wolverine And the last is they could actually be clones I know I already said this but as I listened to the conversations between the Justice League there was so many things off I can’t name them because I already forgot about them but trust me on this the conversations didn’t sound right it sounds off

I feel like Harley was copy and pasted from Margot Robbie’s Harley. I like her Harley, but Arkham Harley felt unique. She was basically the Harley from BTAS. And Harley sexually assaulting Deadshot is disgusting. The total disrespect that is shown to the JL is abhorrent. The only honorable death is WW. The Injustice games are fantastic. I feel like SS is just the class bully copying the smart kid’s homework in that regard. And the whole Sweet Baby Inc involvement, is sad. We don’t want to have agendas forced down our throats. Batman’s will power should’ve made him break free of Brainiac’s hold. SS ain’t Canon. It’s a ketamine infused fever dream of Harley.

You know what they could have done? Have the Joker(ed) Batman show up partway through, screwing over Braniac's plans. Because the only way Batman could get around the mind control was if it wasn't his mind. Make a fun bit about Harley getting to kill both of the most frustrating people she's known in her life, just as Batman knew she would. Turn Batman's death into one last move to protect Gotham from the Joker, Braniac and himself.

I played all these games but I'm going to be the first to say I get it and beside brainiac aint scarecrow he made sure his mind control cant be overcome the only way was to kill them but i will say i definitely dont care for the game play or the suicde squads ploy armor against a leauge that isnt holding back there i did like the boss fights but even i admit they could've been better but I do like the rest of the deaths of the justice league not batmans tho the point im trying to say is arkham batman was going to get caught by brainic because batman isn't invincible.

I’m not impressed with any of these games in terms of story or gameplay tbh I remember getting Arkham city for Christmas and the case was broken from Black Friday and thought it was great but very repetitive my strongest memory was the riddler puzzles played asylum and quit from boredom after 10-15 hours also played knight and was unimpressed with the story but the graphics were incredible maybe I’ll give them another chance

Asylum bored me very badly too even put me to sleep, but it was still a good game imo.
