My rage attacks from Tourette's and PANDAS/PANS were treated like a behavioural problem rather than a neurological problem. This was the wrong approach. They should have focused more on finding triggers, teaching management strategies, and meeting me with compassion. I was treated more like a disobedient dog than as a human.

Thank you so much for sharing your truth. My child was just diagnosed with PANS after two long years of rage attacks and every "behavioral therapy" completely failed, the practitioners would tell us (parents) it was our fault.

Hi Romie (I hope I spelt your name right) I’ve had Severe Tourettic OCD, I’m properly medicated now and don’t have any food dye or caffeine in my diet, I have suffered from rage attacks in the past, I’m just wondering if you’ve tried habit reversal therapy or CBIT (competing responses), I have replaced all my severe ticks with healthy ones (I don’t really have normal Tourette’s) it doesn’t work every time if you have a premonitory urge, sometimes it’s just too strong and you have to give in, but it can help you slowly mould unwanted ticks into healthier ones, for me I have a lot of ticks with objects around the house at the moment and a competing response can either be doing something similar to the tick so your body can feel a similar sensation and feel relieved, so for example touching a similar object or part of the house to the one you have a tick with, or taking the object or thing away altogether, just curious, I messaged you on Facebook maybe 18 months ago asking for advice, would love to have a chat but I’ve noticed you’ve changed your channel name and I can’t find your Facebook, your symptoms are so similar to me in so many ways would love to compare ideas and coping strategies to better help each other through life, get back to me if your interested 😊 cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 your videos are much appreciated
