As a 6'1", blue eyed, and muscular INTP with a decent career, I'm so happy that I don't have to deal with many typical INTP problems. Being awkwardly cerebral and a serial procrastinator is hard enough.

Your video assumes INTPs are flawed or all have similar problems without regard to the idea that personality is fluid and dynamic. This video is true for those who score 100 percent in every facet of INTP-and are 0 on the scale of consciousness, agreeableness, and extraversion. However, the information is presented in a way that almost seems like if an INTP were to gain skills of social interaction and charisma, they would no longer be an INTP. I think it’s possible to largely identify in one area of personality type-but in social settings or public interactions, switch your focus/behavior.

I mean it depending on your position in life, it's nice being able to notice things others don't, and have more perception of the world than others, but that's also what can suck. People not understanding everything you see, the main thing about being INTP is the unseen, seeing the patterns, so people can not have any idea what you're talking about, it can seem like you do nothing, you have no talents or skills,

Vamos trocar contatos!

The way you presented the ideas is funny while still being insightful, however I must say that the functions of INTP are actually Ni-Ti-Fe-Se, rather than Ti-Ne-Si-Fe
@JulioCSFilho11 ай бұрын
Thanks, but how would that be possible? Jung says in his book that the functions go from Extraversion to Introversion and vice-versa
@cosmicyoke11 ай бұрын
@@JulioCSFilho from Jung: “Each of these types represents a different kind of one-sidedness, but one which is linked up with and complicated in a peculiar way by the introverted or extraverted attitude. It was because of this complication that I had to mention these function-types, and this brings us back to the question of the one-sidedness of the introverted and extraverted attitudes. This one-sidedness would lead to a complete loss of psychic balance if it were not compensated by an unconscious counterposition. Investigation of the unconscious has shown, for example, that alongside or behind the introvert’s conscious attitude there is an unconscious extraverted attitude which automatically compensates his conscious one-sidedness." We sometimes think that the auxillary function has to be the opposite attitude for balance, but this isn't the case because the auxillary function depends entirely upon the dominant function, it functions within the dominant so to speak, representing it in many ways. So as we can see with what Jung said, the unconscious functions of an introvert are extraverted, and the unconscious functions of an extravert are introverted functions. Im not sure about you but I used to think that J / P indicated how a type "interacts with the outside world" but this also isnt true, J types interpret S & N from the standpoint of T or F, while P types interpret T & F from the standpoint of S or N, and this in reality is at the core of the J / P difference, among other things. So continuing with the example of an INTP, their dominant function is Ni1, supported by Ti2, and their "inferior" function is Se4, which can sometimes overwhelm them or otherwise not be too present, and Fe3 is what supports Se4, so an INTP can be the type who can experiment with forms of expression and social groups or customs, always within the context of Se.
@cosmicyoke11 ай бұрын
@@JulioCSFilho So I suppose in a way what you mentioned about INTPs overcoming their struggles sort of makes sense still, just that there is also more to it and different ideas. In all its not an easy subject to navigate always so I think its really cool that you made this video :]
@weishe817810 ай бұрын
It honestly depends on the model used. In Socionics, INTPs are Ti-Ni-Ne-Te-Si-Fi-Fe-Se arranged according to dimensionality.
@cosmicyoke10 ай бұрын
@@weishe8178 It actually doesn't, all the "systems" are wrong, and Jung can be very hard to read at times, taking note of the quotes I provided, we also can see how the unconscious of introverts is through the extraverted functions, while the unconscious of an extravert is through the introverted functions. So the proper conscious functions of an INTP are Ni1-Ti2, while their conscious "shadow" functions are gSi4-gFi3, their proper unconscious is Fe3-Se4, and unconscious "shadow" gNe1-gTe2.

Entp comment: you seem to know a fair but of psychology, but you make a few mistakes in this video with regards to mbti. Namely, pewdiepie is not an intp. Don't know where you got that from (and when you say a public forum, that doesn't make you look better. If anything, it makes you look worse) and with regards to Fe, it is not related to feeling. It is related to emotional efficiency. It is not even identity. Fe is the lack of identity, (which is also a form of identity, but critically, it is not distinct). I do agree intp's need to work on their identity, but that is because their biggest weakness isn't Fe. It is Fi.
