He could sue Bragg for malicious prosecution, but those claims are so notoriously difficult to prove (borderline impossible) that very rarely does anybody even try. The judge can't be sued. Judges have absolute immunity for their official acts.

For example if a higher court issued a declarative judgement that the President of the United States had immunity for his official acts, then a judge could be sued for ignoring that declarative judgement. His lawyers first will file to the appeals court to have the verdict overturned & demand the case be thrown out entirely. His rights have been seriously violated here, so there is a 99.9% chance the case will be thrown out on appeal.
