'Big Brother' season 25 contestant Mecole 'Meme' Hayes chats with season 24 winner Taylor Hale about being the house's latest evictee. The Missouri native talks about the house flipping the vote to evict her and not Felicia, and why she decided to call out America and Cory on her way out the door. Meme also reacts to Bowie Jane winning her first HOH competition and what she thinks the Aussie DJ will do with the power. The sad thing with all of Meme's exit press, not just this one is that all of her info is like two weeks behind where everyone else in the game was at, and its really revealing as to just how much she closed herself off in the game. Multiple interviewers told her that it was Matt/Jag who flipped the vote, not America and Cory, and she STILL wouldn't see it

Matt and Jag didn't reveal their idea about voting Meme out to anyone, their plan was to let Cory and America come up with the idea which they did and Matt and Jag went along with it. She didn't close herself off but she didn't engage in the bs she heard going on around the house and decided not to run her mouth about it. To some fans' she was not playing the game because she was not engaging in lies and manipulating people to believe other people were targeting one another. That worked for players like Cory and America but I don't believe Meme would have lasted as long as she did if she played that type of game. A prime example is Kristen, they couldn't wait to get her out for running her mouth. The only reason Fe and Cirie are still in the house is because the other players know they can beat them in comps. Fe went in on Ame and Cory and they kept her around knowing she might put them up but got rid of Meme because she's a better competitor which was Jag's reasoning as well.

Love how she paints Cory exactly how Cirie played the early game, letting other people win comps and she does the mastermind behind the scenes work with flipping the votes. Ironic though how she tells others not to fall into that and she herself was one of those people early on despite them leaving her out of the real plan until the last minute multiple times. Still even through all of that she chose not to accept help from others and keep herself on an island instead making her easily expendable. Like of course you can't trust people in the house fully, it's Big Brother this is what you signed up for, you still have to try to work with others, relying on sheer luck and being invisible is not a viable strategy to winning the game.

America's problem is that perception is reality in the game, and from the standpoint of a lot of the houseguests, she's a passenger to Cory who is doing the dirty work & winning more of the comps and targeting big players to keep them safe. So if she takes Cory to the end, he stands a strong chance of beating her and that's probably her ideal scenario. Then factor in if they want to weaken Cory, she will be nominated and targeted alongside him and if he wins POV that more than likely seals her fate the longer she stays in the game.

Let's just keep it a buck. Mecole only wanted to work with the black people. Of course she'll never say that, but it was obvious. She didn't trust anyone who didn't have skin like hers. Therefore her game sunk because the Brown Sugar alliance wasn't even real (Cirie wanted to keep Izzy over Felicia). She was born in St. Louis and lives in Maryland, two cities with high concentrations of African Americans, she works in politics and looking at her Twitter she's very pro black. Nothing wrong with that, but I think it gives insight to her gameplay. Had she really been playing the game, she would have pivoted after the Jared blow-up when Izzy went home because she saw the BSB alliance was not real. She missed an opportunity right there. Cory tried his best to get her to work with them that week. Why remain loyal to Cirie when you saw they weren't loyal to you? So after that week, she was left with no one but Felicia. Gotta expand your options in this game, girl. This ain't season 23 or an HBCU. And I don't believe for ONE SECOND she would have aligned with Cam as she's been saying AFTER the fact. No way! She was too paranoid to work with anyone else. Beautiful and smart woman, though. Just not a BB player.
