@LOCkedinLouisianaАй бұрын
The average Black person isn't, but yes, Black people are leaving, y'all are just not in the right expat groups. They've been leaving since 2016. Specifically to Panama thanks to BEIP. A lot of young Californians moved to Tiajuana and commute back once a week to get their mail. The ones who SERIOUSLY move tend not to announce it, they just do it. The trick is, you better have a 100% remote job that doesn't restrict you to the U.S. mainland. A lot of us moved to Peueto Rico because thats as far as we could go.

I know some people that have moved to Ghana, Namibia, and Kenya. Others are considering Congo, Swaziland, and Cameroon. It's probably good to go places where you're not considered an other. Some people talk about moving because of Trump but there are many Democrats that are guilty of racist behavior against black people. People forget that Biden was best friends with a senator that was a racist and former klan member. Biden also, passed legislation that was targeted against black people in his time as a senator. The same was true for Kamala. There were Democrats that spent the early 2000s and 2010s helping to destabilize the lives of black people throughout the USA by generating illegal terminations, foreclosures, and promotion of high interest rate loans (corporate loan sharking). All this in an effort to keep blacks as a permanent underclass through economic and political distress. The same is true for some Republicans as well. I can understand black people's frustration and why they'd want to leave the USA. Why they'd want to move to the European nations where there is still mass prejudice against Africans and other global blacks is beyond me. It seem as if the purpose for leaving the USA is to get away from racism then going to countries where you're not an other would be the goal. Because in time, those same issues still comes to the surface in some European, Asian, and Latin American nations.
@BlackExcellenceMediaАй бұрын
True that both parties have been guilty of discriminatory legislation. To go to Europe to escape racism doesn't seem realistic, but I see the point of going there to find a different lifestyle than the hectic way of life in the US.
