I love the fact Bobby decided to stay 🙌🏽 I know it will be tough on him to not have his brother by his side.. but I also think this will push him in his maturity & development as a player and person. I’ve seen him and talked with him various times after the games and I am pulling for him 100% he’s an NFL caliber player from an athleticism standpoint.. the work he puts in to understand the playbook and read an offensive and watch film will determine everything for him 🙌🏽

I don't think it's about coddling Emory's feelings, moreso than giving the kid a freaking chance. I mean he's been here for two years, played in a handful of games and looked decent. He clearly knows the system very well. I mean what are we coming to now, past recruits just don't get a chance to play and you get a new QB from the portal every year? It's sad if so, and he's earned the right to be the starter or at least have a chance at it. At some point you should commit to your young talent, especially when they've shown promise. Put the NIL money towards more important things, like big portal players on defense. If we just keep getting a portal QB, then why even recruit QB's from high school? And Emory will 100% be gone if we do it, which I wouldn't blame him. Doesn't send a good message. Getting Cam made sense last year. Tyler was gone, Emory was still younger and less experienced. Now he's had an additional year to watch and learn from a Heisman level QB in Cam, and he did some solid mop up duty in a couple games. Just saying, we should put some faith in Mario and Emory, and if it doesn't work out, we got Luke Nickel next who looked awesome in highschool, and can get a big QB from the portal next year.

Emory isnt gonna jump into the portal. NIL wise and poff leaving right away i think its obvious Emory is valued here. That doesnt mean Miami isnt gonna go all in on a portal qb that makes us the ACC Favorite in 2025. We will be in the acc championship game next year. I also believe we will win the ACC championship game. I believe Mattier or Ewers will be QB1 at Miami next year. Emory will be the unquestioned back up next year. From day 1 of camp Emory will be QB2. He will gain another year learning this offense and in 2026 if his delivery and armstrength have improved he could very well be qb1.
