Culture is what makes us human and civilised. The loss of culture is like the loss of humanity. Sadly culture is dying.

Art and Culture is the most important things for me. Because if we know what and how are increase civilitation, we know than why is important, culture and art. If you make things kind of culture and art, you behaviour local and sowith you think globally also. So easy is that.

When it comes to cultural activities such as opera, the ballet etc. I wonder how many people participate in it because they actually enjoy it and how many do so because it is expected at a certain level in society? Perhaps I am odd, but these things leave me as unimpressed as a sports match does.
@warwicklewis87355 жыл бұрын
Just as unimpressive is watching a bunch of millenial kids dress up as paleolithic hunter/gatherers blowing into hollow sticks, tapping twigs together and jumping around pretending they are preserving "culture". At least the ballet and opera crowd aren't asking us taxpayers to pay them for performing their act.

individual culture is one of the biggest factors in violence and conflict. racism, biggotry, and it causes arbitrary wars and genocide. Culture isnt bad per say, but it needs to be a unified culture. A global culture, where all of the people stand united. It is imperitive to our species that we stop thinking of ourselves as from a specific country, and start thinking of ourselves as from earth. Shed titles like italian and america, and transition to titles such a Earthling, or just call ourselves human. When that happens, we will reach the next step in our evolution and can begin to put away our guns and start colonizing our galaxy.

What do you really call culture? What are you up to do with it? Are you up to spend more money on it, or are you up to spend more money on government workers? How do you know, if you do it right? Who makes definitions? Who makes decisions? Its all so much talking about everything and nothing.

What is culture? It is a pity you did not define what you are talking about. More cultural artifacts are produced today than ever before in all history. Without some clarity about what you mean by culture the 1.5% expenditure statement is meaningless. The implication I'm left with is that opera is culture but jazz is not!
