The movie was pretty solid. I bought it for $8 and I don't feel ripped off. It'll be my sleep movie, until Xmas.

Saw it on one of the 2 days my theatre showed it, so glad I did.

I made it a personal mission to see this movie in the theater because I saw Yayan (Mad Dog in The Raid) on the poster.

Saw a video last night that was top 10 martial arts movies and it came up. Before that part of the video ended, I knew I wanted to watch it. Found it on Hulu and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

So glad I took a chance on this random movie I saw on my movie theater app. It was so unique and bombastic I can’t help but respect it

Awesome movie

It’s one of the better actioners of this year. A shame that this received minimal marketing, it almost seems like Lionsgate only picked up the distribution rights to this film at the last minute because they were already doing that Crow remake with Bill Skarsgard and just sort of threw it out there. Also agreed on Jessica Rothe being very underrated.
@BAMTubeMovies2 ай бұрын
Agreed. I barely saw anything on it. The only reason I was aware of it was from the initial reactions out of TIFF. That put it on my radar, I added it to my watchlist and that was that. I bring it up in discussion though and the vast majority of people don't even know what I'm talking about, which is indeed a real shame. Hopefully we'll see Rothe more in the future, she's great!

How do you know if Armageddon was good were you able to tell what was going on who’s doing what to whom writhing the action or was it incomprehensible.
@BAMTubeMovies2 ай бұрын
It was pretty easy to follow. Not an overly complex movie.

I saw the previews for this and was excited for it and enjoyed the first 2/3 of the movie, but I thought it fell flat at the end with the "twist" but that's just me
@BAMTubeMovies2 ай бұрын
That's totally fair! The "twist" wasn't a HUGE hit with me either. I sorta started to suspect it anyway, but the action sequences that follow were bananas. Loved that final fight too!

If a movie is complete mind numbingly stupid and ludicrous then it’s a bad film right is Armageddon like that.
@BAMTubeMovies2 ай бұрын
I did not find Armageddon to be like that, no. The plot was a bit extravagant and littered with logical issues, but it's got heart and great characters.
@carsonpeterson7582 ай бұрын
Why did reviews criticise it for not having charachter development and there are also reports of saying it’s one of the most ludicrous films ever made next to the newest film moonfall is it.

Watched it 3 times in the theatre and loved it. It was the only movie I watched more than once in a theatre this year. Underrated, in my opinion.

Yessss! Finally finding some people who feel the same way as me about this one, I love it!

@@BAMTubeMovies I know what you mean. I share the sentiment. I've been trying to get more people to watch it, but they just preferred to wait for the digital release. Hope in time will become a cult classic. Bill Skarsgard' s acting is insane. So much physicality went into that delivery, which is not easy. He is also very versatile. People know him from horror films mostly, but he has done impressive work in dramas, dark comedies, action, psychological films as well. One of the best (if not the best) actor of his generation imo.
