I’m very excited. Si jamais tu reviens au Canada et que tu visites le Québec, il me fera plaisir de te faire quelques suggestions de choses à visiter.

This was absolutely delightful! I haven't explored the Bastille area before, so I really enjoyed 'virtually' walking around with you. Did you say you were invited to Brasserie Bofinger? Lucky lady! Wow! What a meal. All the Alsacienne classics looked delicious. Les plats looked really big too. I am like you and enjoy desserts very much. Bofinger-I ate there with a friend a few years ago. Lovely experience. You really do need to dress up a bit. It’s pricey so be prepared for possible sticker shock.

I don't think I was particularly dressed up, a sweater and pants. Also yes this is a unique Paris experience and you do not necessarily need to order as much as we both did 🙂

So cognac is high quality brandy. That means, all cognacs are brandys but not all brandys are cognacs, and low quality brandy is just brandy?

I am honestly not a brandy expert! I'm assuming it needs to come from the Cognac region in France not just anywhere as well as following strict production rules
