You're right. Nowadays, South Korea LOVES BTS, they are the Nation's Pride, they've been awarded a medal by the government of South Korea, that's how much they're rock with them now. Except, of course, the fans of other groups, they, to this day, try to bring them down, but they can't, not when BTS has done more and way better than any other South Korean artist to date. BTS actually is the only artist apart from The Beatles to have three number one albums in the Billboard 200 Chart in less than a year, also they just won 18 awards IN A WEEK, they have the best selling album in Korea's history, and had it not been for all of Billie Eillish's marketing and bundling, they'd still have the best selling album worldwide of 2019, she only passed BTS' sales like last week. But anyway, yeah, thank you for reacting to BTS!

I get you, man. The strange thing is, people know that BTS clawed their way up to where they are today due to talent and hard work. But now that they are huge, people still protest the awards that BTS won stating that 'it's not right for them to win just because BTS are now popular' it's twisted. And you're right saying that it's through the struggle that BTS had that they are now so big. And that was mentioned by Taehyung (V) he said that there were a lot of chances where they could grow big, fast, but they didn't take it because they wanted to stay on the top longer. It's because they spent so much time building their foundation, they learned more, and grow more as an artist.

been an ARMY since 2014 and you can't buy their albums easily since it is not displayed abundantly on shelves compared to other artists.. they went through a lot and even though they are now world class they still show their sincerity with us by always thanking ARMYs for whatever award they get or places they've gone to.

Thank you. Not sure where you are wanting to go on your BTS journey but ARMY will go along with you. You will find we are kind of different than some fandoms. We prefer you to pause and rewind and ask us questions. If you want to get to know BTS more before listening to more of their music, watch the videos the others have already suggested. BTS is kind of genreless. If you tell us what kind of music you are into, we can suggest specific songs to react to. If you are open to everything, might I suggest you start with their newest album and work your way backwards or the other way around. Also, they will be releasing a new album soon (next couple of months we think). They have been a group since June of 2013 and put out multiple albums per year... Their discography is vast and very diverse. Thanks again.

I have no interest in Blackpink reactions but if you do decide to react to them (it's your channel) I would advise you to never react to both groups in one video or compare them. It's not worth the hassle and hate that would fill your comments. Great video 💜

One thing I will need to correct in this video. BANG and BTS weren't alone in this. JYP always had Bang Si Hyuk's back. Bang was a former producer for JYP entertainment but left the agency to build his own company. JYP supported his decision and has kept a darn good relationship even to this day. When his company almost went bankrupt. It was his friend JYP who helped the agency make the income it needs for another few years. Of course, the money wasn't still enough but thanks to his former boss, he was able to keep his company and form his envisioned group. Now, why is SM that powerful? The company was the first established entertainment company in Korea. Lee So Man pioneered the format of training before debuting Kpop idols. His first-ever debuting group HOT dominated success after the father/founder of Kpop Seotaiji and Boys abruptly retired. By 1996 SM was ruling the charts, selling millions of albums and debuting successful groups and solo. Among the three he has the most power and influence. Not even YG entertainment can compete with him until he scouted GD, a promising young songwriter/rapper. He was the first Kpop idol who was given the freedom to write and produce music for his group, Bigbang. Their success leveled the playing field in the Kpop industry. JYP, on the other hand, kept a good roster of successes through his groups and solo artists. Most don't always last that long but he will always have new debuting idols.

Agree that it did make them stronger, made their relationship with ARMY stronger. I don't agree that it's okay, not just okay to say that's how it is. That's why BTS & ARMY fight, for for fair representation, not just for themselves but for those who come after them. Other groups, will benefit from BTS/ARMY's struggles and are now benefitting. It's frustrating to see these groups that don't have the same struggles as BTS, they have the BIG companies with money behind them and they act like they did all themselves, when really they didn't. Not all of K pop groups are like that, but there are some that just take the opportunities that BTS provided and act they they did it. BTS & ARMY keep going!!!!

BTS is K-pop but not K-pop. The same thing is that they are from Korea, a group that focuses on dance and singing. But the difference is that unlike most K-pop groups, they write and even produce their own songs. And their music continues in storytelling style with their growth. Those who are familiar with BTS will find out how different their music and music videos are from other K-pop groups, even from musicians in any other country in the world. So we call it BTS pop. Some people misunderstand that Army ignores other K-pop groups. Because we call BTS pop, not KPop. However, we do not want BTS to be in the KPOP category because the bts are pursuing new things. How old is the video, because they are no longer being treated unfair in Korea, they are currently Korea's National Pride, sad it took their international success & achievements (that were being blocked, slandered, & sabotaged by other fandom groups, clearly intimidated by their talent & dirty tactics of the Big 3). However yes, BTS have overcome huge obstacles & unwarranted hate, persevered through it all, to rise to an historical status of success, that had never been. #1 Boy Band in the WORLD. They still have haters trying & denying, but it is what it is. They are the most famous/successful Kpop act EVER. They paved the way, organically to Kpop mainstreaming & globalization.

I don’t know why so many people are trashing Blackpink in the comments. Blackpink is a great group just like all the other groups out there, they put in work just like other groups. I’m not saying they’re the best because they’re not the best but you also have to remember not everybody has the same taste like I like blackpink but the person next to me might not enjoy their music it all depends on what you like. technically it's both. you don't see it now bc bts are so big but even before bts has said other idols have actually said rude things about them and they weren't allowed to say anything back. it was pretty big on twt and an article was written about it. people in the industry also commented about how they wish they treated bts better if they knew they'd be big and I'm sure some idols think that way as well, like Bobby.

No offense but blackpink is mediocre at best in terms of singing and dancing and they dont even have a full album yet. Up until this year they literally performed the same 9 songs for years. Are y’all giving the same hate to txt (BTS brother group that just debuted) who basically used BTS and Bighit’s new found success to become extremely popular rookies. And y’all can’t say they became completely successful from talent alone. Also the groups from the Big3 definitely have clout but it’s not always sunshine and rainbows for them either and success is not always guaranteed. Also the idols from those companies are definitely extremely talented that’s why they made it into those companies. I wouldn't say that txt used bts. Did you expect bighit to have 1 group throughout it's entirety? Whoever debuted people would say that. But when a new group debuts under another company like itzy, we didn't hear that they were using twice..... I will admit that txt had it easy in some aspects because the hype around their debut was immense. But even before they debuted the comparisons started, they weren't as good as bts, they can never reach bts' level. Imagine people putting a limit on your success when you barely started your career. Hate's a strong word to use in this instance. People are saying they don't like blackpink and for valid reasons, not that they hate them. There's a difference. And yes, obviously they didn't become completely successful just with their talent. Nobody does. I'm not a bp fan because they just don't seem as authentic as some of the other girl groups. I do think it's a shame that many of their fans are so horrible to other artists and fanbases because they don't deserve that. None of us are perfect tho.
