I owned a 2013 Hyundai veloster turbo for 7 years and put 220,000 miles before it gave’d up on me. I am now a owner of a 2020 RAV4 hybrid and it’s gonna go through a lot. Let’s see how long it can last me til it gives up. You on the spot, Toyota! 😁

I personally think the pearl white with black top is still the best looking xse though, biggest contrast. Also after window tint, the upper part sometimes appear to become invisible...Almost has a suv/convertible look. Although, the upcoming rav4 prime with Red body/black top combo looks awesome too.

Keep in mind that the hybrid models are being built with a defective gas tank and/or fuel gauge. I have one and I have that issue which is very annoying.

buyer beware: some 2019 & 2020 Rav4 hybrid have fuel tank issues. my 2019 rav-4 xse hybrid has it and currently toyota doesn’t have a fix for it

The good news is that Toyota will fix it and won't charge a dime. Unfortunately, recalls are an unforeseen fact of life, or more often a recall is the result of newly discovered, and safer way to get it done. Best to you.

Mine too. 2019 xse. But Toyota is telling me the range is due to colder weather and a large reserve. I call bullshit. No way am I getting 55l in the tank or anywhere close to the range it promotes.

Thanks for the feedback Mikita. Personally I’m no longer an audiophile. Back in the 80s in the 90s I loved cranking up the sound system in my car. But, now that I’m 50-ish with three kids not so much. So I wouldn’t spend the money but, I am cheap.

How i get 550+ on a single fill up. (Read below) on 2020 Rav4 Hybrid (Gas tank Defective) 1. Wait tell your trip monitor says 30 miles left 2. When you go to fill up YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE NOZZLE 1/2 inch maybe 1 inch away from the mouth of the tank. 3. Then continue to pump tell it says 14 gallons only! Do not go over 14 gallons. Your tank is 14.5 you need the buffer room. 4. You should get about 540 to 560 on your trip monitor. 5. Do not use your gas gauge as a measuring tool. Only use the trip monitor. 6. Supposedly Toyota has a new prototype gas tank they been testing and it "sometimes" works. Lol. Cross your fingers people

So I should be okay with a car that suffers from cracked engines, a fuel tank that either doesn't hold the stated amount of fuel or has a fuel sensor issue, and a car that lurches and hesitates in certain situations (possibly a software error)? I think I'll wait until Toyota sorts out the uncharacteristic problems on the Rav4 Hybrid.

There's no gas tank issue. It's the flow rate of fuel is to fast for the tanks. In Australia we have no problems filling up.
