Like Saudi Arabia basically similar price to the cow milk but if gers more expensive when processed and sold in supermarket just cheap when bought directly from herders which most people do here! These guys talk about the more industry like process that takes more profit into account unlike the herder that don't rely on profit from milk

Just so you know it's actually healthy. And as they explained one of the reasons for it's High price is that it's not natively available to produce camel milk in many places, so the import/export costs along with the fact that the amount of milk produced is far less compared to a cow. It is obviously not expensive in native places like middle East, Sudan, etc.

@@saqibzaman1476 I wouldn't use that as a "healthier alternative" factor though considering skim milk exists. In terms of nutrients, it may be healthier depending on what a person's body might need (vitamins, minerals, that stuff). Still quite a bit of calories in Camel milk though, just like regular cow milk.

I remember shopping in an Asda one day, was at the dairy section and saw this being sold. Small cardboard cylinders (can't remember exactly how much but it wasn't a large amount) costing around £3.50 each. Yes it was expensive, but I couldn't resist the curiosity to try at least once. It wasn't that bad actually, it certainly wasn't sour like goat's milk and it also had a slightly thicker consistency than cow's milk but not as much as cream. Was nice in my tea too.☕

Finally we've found some people in the milking industry who take care of their animals, don't kill their family, and don't treat them like milking machines. Kept in natural surroundings for most of the time, fed a natural diet, and most importantly are kept lively and healthy for the maximum of their lifespan. They even clean the udders for health safety. Won't be seeing the cow workers doing that anytime soon now will we?

It’s only expensive in wester countries here in Saudi Arabia it’s about 2$/L sometimes you get it for free. My uncle has 15-20 camels and he never sold one of them for their meat. He gives milk to anyone asking and even if you didn't ask he will offer it to you, because he didn't raise camels to gain profit he raises them as a hobby after he retired from the military. He is a minority but not a small one.

As a camel owner I can say it's obviously clear that the people in this diary company should have someone who really knows how raise and take care of a camel, the reason the milk tastes salty is because the younger the baby camel is the sweeter the milk tastes and by time when the baby gets older the mother's milk tastes salty to make him look for other sources of foods and to depend on it's own. Who said the mother should always have her baby camel around her to give milk???? The majority of my camels can give milk when ever I want them to do so without their babies being around them.We can make them adopt other camels babies if a baby camel dies or born dead or even if we sell the baby to reduce the cost of feeding so many camels specially make babies.Imagine having 2 or 3 mothers for one baby camel how much milk extra you'll get and how much money you'll save by not feeding more baby camels. If you need someone who can help you with this please feel free to email me at bomalik1996@gmail.com
