how is people so consistent in FZero99 is beyond me, i dont understand, i have tried being agresive, being cautious, cheesing things, everything and so far i have only gotten one 1st, lots of 2nd and 3rds but just one win.

each car requires a different playstyle, so be aware of that (also blue falcon is the hardest to win with because it doesn't excel at anything in particular)

Try to play your car's playstyle. I play Golden Fox and I started winning when I learned that they are good for spamming boost, specially at the beggining of the race and then securing first place until the end
