Why CANADA Now Regrets the Massive Immigration and Finally Decided to Reduce It

For more than a decade, the Canadian government has presented to the young people of the world a vision of the Canadian dream that does not always match the reality, portraying the country as a land of tolerance, opportunity and world-class education. The government has spent tens of millions of dollars on advertising, promotional videos, higher education fairs and online marketing. And the effort has paid off, because by 2023 Canada was hosting 1,040,000 international students, who spend billions of dollars on tuition, housing and other expenses such as their private health insurance. So in addition to contributing to economic growth and expanding the country's cheap labor force, Canada had earned a reputation for being friendly and open to immigrants. However, in March 2024, the Canadian government announced that it would no longer take in as many immigrants as before. So the questions are: why did Canada want so many immigrants? Why is it now backing down and no longer wants to welcome so many? And how did the Canadian education sector scam thousands of immigrants?

I waited 2 yrs to see a specialist, and doctors are in short supply. Hospitals overwhelmed and people dying waiting in emergency rooms. Housing no one can afford, food no one can afford, so Trudeau thinks , lets add more people He never cared for Canadians, only how many people he can bring in from other countries.

mistake is high interest rate. 10% food inflation , you pay max$200 more for you food monthly now you pay 3 times mortgage 3000 to 10,000more a month, small business get killed, large business must increase price due to interest cost

The immigration of students benefits the Universities. During Covid some Universities were on the brink of bankruptcy because the super high foreign student tuition had dried up. This is a federal problem and they are using foreign students to subsidies the Universities. Canadian students are turned away because they don't pay the high tuitions the Universities need to pay for staff and administration. The Universities need to be able to be self supporting and get off of high foreign student tuition subsidies.

Canada is a large country but immigrants can't be expected to go into the north with a tent and sleeping bag and survive. They need to go into cities where services are offered. The housing has not kept up with the pace of immigration. A home can not be built as fast as Trudeau opens his mouth and proclaims there is no housing shortage. Immigration is a problem for all western countries right now. Immigrants have been allowed to flood western countries as they have (or had) largely liberal governments who were virtue signalling that immigration is welcome from around the world, and they finally found that a boom in population without services and housing will bring a government down faster than any scandal. Britain is a good example of vitue signally regarding immigration. The country does not want to be seen as non-progressive so illegal immigrants are entering the country faster than any housing can be built. The migrants are given hotels (which are now also filled) and lately the government is evicting British citizens from their homes so that migrants can live there. As I predict the UK government will be brought down in the next election, and it will because of the horrible way the looked after immigration.

Canada can correct this situation by employing qualified educated personnel from India Sri Lanka rather than filling with uneducated people in India which has become a negative factor.
