This episode we show how unavailable parts car make a 8 year old car worthless and what is involved in fitting basic parts on some cars😡😡
We have started this channel to help us change our company to give us a better work/life balance including lowering stress levels in both,this was created to keep a visual diary for us to look back on to see we are making headway, hopefully people like what they see and can take the odd idea for themselves,this is not a technical channel as that has been covered many time by people vastly better than I will ever be. Hope you enjoy, if you do could you please like,subscribe and turn on the notification bell.

@@rmsdiagnostics I had a Morris Traveller during my college days. I had it for several years till my mum told me to sell it.☹️ She’d forced me to buy something more modern with a BS fiesta!😡 I hated the bloody thing!🤬 It was neglected and abused. I never washed it, left the windows opened in the rain and never checked the fluids. I later scrapped it with the same year due to major engine failure. Fast forward to the present day, I now drive a CRV.

This is why I tell my customers not to ignore faults on used cars before they agree a price and to at least call the dealer to get a worst-case scenario price. I inspected a truck the other day with a faulty engine, no engines in Australia, or rebuild kits, or heads etc, all to be ordered from Japan, with at least 8 week wait+ then they would have to fit it. They of course didn't buy it, but the complexity of no parts and or poorly designed vehicles for repairs is terrible for vehicle owners today.

Have another watch pablo, seats are folded down and it’s actually ready to do a dump run with rubbish in the boot, all these parts are clean so no problem. As for your wash after a service this is definitely something service centers or dealers do as it’s the only thing your actually able to judge them on, you can’t tell if they fitted you parts right or wrong or had the head tech or the apprentice change your oil,all you do is drive the car in and drive it out and hand them over hundreds of pounds and you can only judge them on the service advisors patter,the nice coffee and a car wash,Our cars come in with faults and leave without and customers are over the moon they found someone who can fix it. Amazing how people love to harp on about how awful Dacias are, and yet most have never owned one. Yes they are cheap cars, and can have their issues, but they are no less reliable than any other brand, and when you consider they're half the price of some other cars which are far worse (looking at you VAG group), thats pretty impressive. I've driven Dacias for more than a decade, and for the price I can't fault them. The number of them being used as taxis both here and overseas with big miles on them tells you something. Repairs are generally straightforward, parts are cheap, and they dont rust nearly as badly as some other cars Ive owned, particularly if you look after them.

My ex partner had a Dacia Sandero 2017 reg from new. Was on 3rd starter motor with less than 20,000 miles! Dacia didn't want to know. 1st one went 3 weeks after warranty expired. Supposedly didn't charge fot part but £200 fitment. Neighbours had brand new Duster, every time it rained the footwells filled with water. I liked them both but wouldn't have one!

Have a Renault Megane 3, 1.5dci, 200k on the clock, hasn't missed a beat. These Dacias should be no different. Never warmed to the Dacia, too cheap. Also had a 1.4 Astra G for years and Astra H OPC, what cars. Reliable and never let me down. You look after a car, they'll look after you.

He needs to know they are all made by Renault and sold as Renaults in most of Europe so, they aren’t made of cheap rubbish parts at all. They are just a little less luxurious than mainstream Renaults cars. They only get lower safety ratings because they don’t have all of the multiple safety bolt on kit other cars have. If he thinks a Dacia is basic he clearly didn’t drive in the 1970’s or 1980’s because all cars were basic then. He will be thinking the Dmart car is a Mercedes next which, of course it isn’t.
@rmsdiagnostics

yes the safety systems are a lot lower than the Renault, Volkswagen lowered the safety on the lupo over the polo but was still happy to be proud their brand and didn’t rebrand it👌 what car do you drive buddy?
