Casemiro has been such a revelation. We have missed having this type of complete footballer in the midfield for so long. Matic was ok. But Casemiro is just streets ahead. I don't think we've really had anyone that can play this DM role on such a high level since Carrick retired nearly a decade ago.

When he came in for the first 2 games he was failing to pass forward after winning possession from opposition and thus conceded position quickly leading to counters which he immediately fixed and understood the mentality of the team he has been a game changer for united and I am looking forward for them to win a trophy this year based on the strong defense and midfield.

Life of a Real Madrid player: 1. Be one of the hottest up and coming young talents and have all major clubs fight for your signature. 2. Sign for Madrid even though you would have been paid more at PSG or City. 3. Get called overrated while you're winning multiple UCLs. 4. Leave Madrid because there's nothing new left to win and you want a challenge. 5. NOW you get called one of the best in the world.

Has been one of the 3 best midfielders in the world for over half a decade, and probably has another 2 seasons at a similar level in him. With Ten Hag’s tactical know-how he’ll be useful beyond that too. Just hope he stays fit. He also looks like he really relishes the game, constantly motivated machine.

The notion of goals and assists as the basis of how good a player is is clearly shown here that it maybe a skewed view of the game. Players that enable others play well or that enable the team win deserve a lot more credit. Casemiro has done it so often that I think an award should be developed for that purpose. He did it at Madrid only for a fellow out of touch with a game to call him a "steady eddy". I don't know if he has the same thoughts about busquets. But these kinds of players are rare and I hope that role is now called the casemiro role like that named after makelele

I think Casemiro is the best DM in the Premier League at the moment. He has so extreme control of what he does. Making it extremely difficult for the other teams to attack and making the job extremely more easy for the center backs and the keeper. And he is extremely good at starting the attack once he wins the ball.

Casemiro and Busquets been the best CDMs in the last decade, not surprised at all, if it's already enough for a title push for United, not sure yet. They should go all out to put Kane up top as they would have done in the Fergie days and get another CM+CB, just so they can rotate Eriksen and Varane.

It’s a bit soon to be thinking about titles, only way we get involved is if teams around us fumble - the next 5 fixtures or so will tell us where United are at competitively this season. Like most I’d be happy with top 4 though for sure this season we have enough to get that. Cas is class

Great signing. The biggest thing I took away from this was his bravery in possession, he's played with some of the best playmakers in the game, they would have encouraged this, he would have tried to come up to their level cause that's what great players do. He's used to winning and he knows what it takes to do so, bravery and drive to do the right things. Who would have thought a world class CDM would help. It's not like United have been saying for years or anything 🙄. We also need to start looking for his understudy right now, if he gets a knock and is out for a few weeks, we would end up with one of McFred again. We need another high potential CDM to come in now and learn from him.

The continuous surprise from EPL fanatics that Casemiro is in fact an amazing player is so strange. But I guess that happens when you only look at 1 league, look down on every other league, and somehow also ignore the CL, and international competition. Consistent world-class DM. Has won it all. A rock on which to build for any team he's in. Heck, I even had him in my world cup TotT, despite strong competition. Not old either, pretty much in his prime at 30 years old.
