Amen to everything you have said here. My wife and I became convinced about adoption before we even got married. The number of orphans in sub Saharan Africa is staggering and I believe that Christan families should at least be asking if they shouldn't also adopt. We have 4 wonderful kids through adoption and the Grace of God.

What agency did you adopt from? My husband I are looking to adopt but are looking for a Christian agency that makes it an easy process that hopefully is not to expensive.

Adoption is not for everyone. Agree it represents God's grace and love given to us, but there are a world of things that can devastate a family by adopting. Not every story is a good one....

Not for everyone but more Christians should do it and not let frar of the unknown stop them. Not every story of biological kids are great ones and many families have been destroyed or have gone through trials due to biological kids.

No mention of the financial cost. It's the equivalent of buying a moderate($80,000) house to adopt a child.

My sister in law wanted to adopt but my brother didn't it was one of the main reasons for their divorce. He wanted a biological child. She didn't because she thought it ruin her figure and she wanted to emulate Angelina jolie

I feel completely compelled to care for orphans but no desire to adopt. I am not and most likely never going to be in the financial situation to do so. Not everybody can do that. My sister and husband have 4 biological kids 2 adopted her husband soster kids who mom died of cancer dad committed suicide and stepmom didn't want them....but my sister is a physician and her husband is a corporate attorney

What does being a Christian have to do with adoption?
@carlathompson9308Ай бұрын
My point is adoption is expensive and not every one can do it besides some people aren't meant for it
