Dullness in “spiritual hearing” has many causes, but one serious result: you can't “hear” the deep things of God. Every Christian has a responsibility to be a teacher (within the circumstances God has placed them) as they mature in Christ. Milk is for baby Christians. Strong meat belongs to mature Christians who because they exercise their spiritual senses can concern good and evil.
